WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes Review

Your little one is new to the world, and a side effect of that is sensitive skin. They simply aren’t used to different fabrics and textures like we are. The best baby wipes for sensitive skin have only two ingredients added: 99.9% water and grapefruit extract. In other words: WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes.

Why We Like It – WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes

Made of 99.9% water and a touch of grapefruit seed extract, vegan and hypoallergenic, you have a small serving size of baby wipes that are perfect on your baby’s sensitive skin.

Pros
  • Hypoallergenic; no harmful ingredients
  • Perfect for sensitive skin
  • On-the-go serving sizes
Cons
  • Can’t recycle the package
  • Not biodegradable

Performance

Like their packaging said, the lack of questionable ingredients really did help. Using these water wipes prevented unwanted side effects such as diaper rash or redness. This is because the main ingredient is water, and it’s 99.9% water. You won’t find alcohol like the Pampers Sensitive Water Based Baby Diaper Wipes have. It’s almost like you’re giving your little one a bath with one of these wipes. The wipes have a slight texture to them that is gentle for cleaning, but also texturized enough to pick up dirt and grime.

Design

Another positive choice was going with smaller packages. They are about half the thickness of your average baby wipe packaging. This slimmer design meant it was far easier to take on-the-go. For the lack of ingredients used in the wipes themselves, you’d think the packaging would be recyclable—but alas, it is not. Even the wipes contain viscose and polyester, neither of which are biodegradable. The Huggies Natural Care Wipes are like that too, nor is the packaging small enough for traveling.

Value

The first thing you’ll notice about the WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes is its price. For 240 wipes, $13 can be pretty steep. Multiple packages are available such as 240, 540 and 720-count boxes. It’s most cost efficient to pick up multiple 240-count boxes. Why? Because that equals out to $39, which is $5 cheaper than the 720-count box, strangely enough. Sure, you could go for quantity and pick AmazonElements Baby Wipes Unscented or you can go for quality and pick WaterWipes for your little one. The prospect of avoiding nasty rashes and red skin is worth the extra price.

WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes Wrap Up

The WaterWipes Sensitive Baby Wipes have all the markings of a great wipe. Hypoallergenic, vegan, and only made of two ingreients—99.9% water and .01% fruit extract—your baby’s skin isn’t being exposed to alcohol. We only wish that same mindset was extended to the packaging and material as neither are recyclable or biodegradable; otherwise a great product.
