The Vornado Pivot Personal Air Circulator Fan is two pounds and comes in at about six inches high. Compact-ability and portability are the names of the game when it comes to this fan’s performance. And given the excellent customer reviews online, it is undoubtedly one of the best fans you can buy today!

Why We Like It – Vornado Pivot

The Vornado Pivot makes an excellent addition to any desk or bedroom. The painted finish and variety of colors give you an edge when it comes to style and grace, and the Vortex Air Circulation means you’ll get a nice cooling effect when you use it. There’s no sacrificing performance for design when it comes to this fan.

  • Two Pounds and Six Inches High
  • Very Sleek and Stylish

  • Non-Specific Pivoting Access

The Vornado Pivot uses signature Vortex air circulation to give you the best and most effective circulation to move the air around you. It comes equipped with a pivoting access, but unfortunately, they don’t specify to what degree it is. It has three manual speed settings, which is standard for table fans like this. But you can check out the Dyson Air Multiplier if you want more precise speed settings.

The Vornado Pivot comes in a variety of colors, such as Champagne, Copper, Ice White, and Storm Gray, so you know it’ll fit in with your decor wherever you decide to put it. It weighs a measly two pounds and is only six inches high, so you should be able to grab it and carry it anywhere it needs to go. But if you lean more on the traditional side of tabletop fans, consider the Holmes Blizzard Fan.

Noise/Sound Level

The Vornado Pivot lets out 31dB of noise on low and 41dB of noise at maximum speed. For reference, 30dB is extremely quiet and 40dB is about whisper standard. It’s a quiet fan, which is good, and on the highest noise setting, it will provide some good background noise. Overall, it’s a quiet fan, so feel free to use it in your bedroom or office. If you find it’s not for you, the 3-year satisfaction guarantee should help you out.

Versatility/Modern Features

The Design of the Vornado Pivot is sleek and stylish, and the painted finish makes it bright and vibrant too. It’s sure to please, both you and any visitors to your office or home, and will give your desk the edge, fashion-wise. Another model, the Pivot Clip, allows the fan to be clipped right onto your desk, directly near you, for a closer, more cooling blast of air.

Customer reviews for the Vornado Pivot fan are doing well. Over on Amazon, it has 4.5/5 stars based on 3,577 ratings, which is not bad at all. It’s also on the more affordable side for a little fan, retailing for $17.oo. For a price that low it’s at least worth trying out to see if you truly prefer a smaller fan against a bigger one. You can also check out the Fancii USB Fan for a similarly priced fan to try out.

Vornado Pivot Wrap Up

The Vornado Pivot looks something like the engine of a jet, adding to its stylishness when placed on your desk. Some may think it tacky, and that’s their prerogative, but I think it’s pretty neat. The head does pivot, but unfortunately, there’s no exacting measurement for this. Still, with all the other great features, the good greatly outweighs the bad.
