The Vornado Flippi V6 Desk Fan features much more color choices than fans of its class. These include the best air circulator fan and best travel fan, and you should never discount the ability of selection of colors to sell a product. Where the Flippi does lack a little bit, though, is the lack of adjustable speed settings. So, why do people like this top-tier fan? Read our review to find out.

Why We Like It – Vornado Flippi

The Vornado Flippi is a great fan that is small enough to use in your bedroom or home office without being overly disturbing. It uses Vortex Air Circulation to better distribute air around you. And just for icing on the cake, it is built to meet United States Voltage requirements.

Performance/Power

The Vornado Flippi V6 Personal Fan uses Vornado’s patented Vortex Air Circulation, much like its cousins the Vornado 293 and the Vornado Flippi V8, to better and more effectively distribute air all around you. The little fan has a two-speed manual control. While this is standard in the portable fan world, we have seen fans with more speed settings, and wish the Flippi V6 incorporated more control there.

Durability/Build

The Vornado Flippi V6 Personal Air Circulator Fan is constructed with a multi-directional tilt-head and a manual swivel base. This allows for greater control of the airflow and lets you direct it whichever way you see fit. It weighs exactly one pound and is only 4.9 x 5 x 6.2 inches which makes it very easy to carry around with you or to be put away in a bag or suitcase. But if you prefer a bigger, more traditional-looking fan, check out the Holmes Blizzard Fan.

Noise/Sound Level

The Flippi line of Vornado Fans does make some noise, but people found that this just amounts to a bit of background noise. If you enjoy having some background noise while working or sleeping, then this is a fan for you. While extremely quiet overall, though, exact dB levels aren’t stated, so you’ll have to rely on customer reviews for measurement of noisiness.

Versatility/Modern Features

The Flippi Vornado Products are built to meet United States voltage requirements. They are also safety tested on top of these voltage requirements to add an extra layer of security we really appreciate. Design-wise, they have a high-gloss, sleek finish and flip capability so you can conceal and protect the fan when not in use. For a sleek desk fan, you might like the Treva 10 fan.

Value

The Vornado Flippi V6 comes in a variety of bold colors, such as black, different shades of blue, gray, and even plum. It’s always nice when a company gives choices like this. It just adds to the possibility of the fam becoming an essential part of your decor. It also comes with a lengthy three-year warranty and, best of all, is only $18.00.

Vornado Flippi Wrap Up

Despite no dB levels being stated overtly, the Vornado Flippi V6 is a very quiet fan that will only produce a pleasant amount of background noise and not disturb you in any way. Admittedly, though, you’ll have to rely on the trustworthiness of customer reviews for that information. The tilt-head and swivel base allows you greater control of airflow too, which is always a plus.
