  • A lot of assembly required

Performance

Gaming chairs have become an important amenity especially for professional players who tend to have very long gaming sessions. This is why models such as the S-Line SL4000 gaming chair & the DXRacer Formula Series (Newedge Edition) have risen to such high levels of popularity. If you’re familiar with the Vertagear Racing Series, the SL4000 is arguably the best looking of the bunch, and still comes at a price that won’t do too much damage to your wallet. The chair has an ergonomic build, and has a back that curves just slightly around you for that bucket seat effect. The chair is completely covered in PVC leather to give it a smooth feel, and the seat has foam padding which makes for very comfortable gaming.

Design

Once you make your order, the Vertagear S-Line SL4000 arrives in a big heavy box that you’ll probably need help with to move around. It comes disassembled, and might take a while to put together especially if you’ve never done this before. The Vertagear Racing themed chair comes with black, blue, red and green as its main colors, with red, blue, white, green or black as the only available accents. It’s not like the X Rocker 51396 Pro Series that only comes in black. After setting it up, you’ll find out it has a great range for height and seat adjustment, and some soft glide wheels that don’t make any sound when you move the chair around.

Value

You won’t get any extra cushions once you get the Vertagear Racing Series S-Line. The chair comes with its own in the box, plus a nice headrest that you can use when you’re leaning your head back. You also get very many options for stuff you can adjust. The armrest, headrest, sitting height, seat angle and the backrest can all be adjusted to your specific needs, so you can get the perfect seating position for all those nights you’ll spend gaming.

Vertagear SL4000 Wrap Up

As you’ve seen in this Racing Series S-Line SL4000 review, you’ll probably get a lot more value for this gaming chair than what you paid for. If there’s something that you’d like that’s missing, then we suggest checking out the other gaming chairs in the Vertagear Racing Series – you’ll definitely find something that suits your taste.
