While Cool Wallets don’t always have to come with a high-price tag, up to and including the Best Checkbook Wallet, the Tony Perotti Wallet is an exception to this rule. But what you are getting for this price is something sophisticated and highly utilitarian all rolled-up into one package.

Why We Like It – Tony Perotti Wallet

The Tony Perotti Wallet is a great gift for the friend or loved one who enjoys the finer things in life. The 100% cowhide leather screams sophistication and looks and feels fantastic thanks to the exceptional handmade artisanship. And on the utility front it performs admirably too!

Pros
  • Great Handmade Artisanship
  • 11 Credit Card Slots
  • Thumb-Slotted ID Window for Easier Access
Cons
  • No A Lot of Color Variation
  • Heavy for a Wallet
  • No RFID-Blocking

Aesthetics

The Tony Perotti Wallet is a sleek, fantastic-looking wallet that has the price tag to back it up. It’s Italian Cowhide Leather feels great, and the handmade artisanship really shines through. One downside is that the color variation is limited to different shades of brown and one shade of balck. For more variety, consider the Hiscow Wallet.

Durability

The Tony Perrotti wallet is a little bigger than average, measuring a good 3.5″ x 6.5″ x 0.50″, but we’ll see how that is beneficial very soon. But this also causes the wallet to weigh more too. Now, 0.7 pounds is by no means heavy, but it is when you’re talking about wallets. If you do want something lighter, consider the Kattee Men’s Vintage Genuine Leather Checkbook Wallet.

Performance

One thing the Tony Perotti Wallet is missing is RFID-Blocking. Granted, this isn’t commonplace in all wallets just yet, but it is starting to be. And for the price they’re charging for the wallet we would have liked to see it here. If RFID-blocking is important to you, then consider the Itslife Men’s RFID BLOCKING Vintage Look Genuine Leather Checkbook Wallet instead.

Size/Versatility

The wallet comes with an exceptional 11 card slots, a crystal clear ID window for displaying at bars or checkpoints, a checkbook holder flap, two receipt back pockets, and a currency gusset pocket. The ID window also comes with a thumb-slot so you can pull it out easily if need be. The card slots and the money pouch are a little snug, but you’ll get used to it.

Value

There won’t be very many wallets that can give off an aura of sophistication and be exceptionally utilitarian at the same time, but the Tony Perotti Wallet pulls it off. Albeit with a few setbacks. It’s well reviewed, even if the review count is a little sparse, scoring a respectable 4.5/5 stars on Amazon based on 202 reviews.

Tony Perotti Wallet Wrap Up

I can understand not wanting to spend the money to purchase the Tony Perotti Wallet. But those who do decide to take the plunge will be very satisfied. Despite some missteps, like the lack of RFID-Blocking, the Tony Perotti Wallet will serve you well while upgrading your style to upper-echelon levels.
