The Peacock Bedroom Review

Peacock feathers can be quite colorful in their own right, and when your bedroom is lacking colors it could be the best candidate for splashing colors onto your room. For master bedroom ideas, we look to what could be the best bedroom set for those who want some pizazz in their room, The Peacock Bedroom.

Why We Like It – The Peacock Bedroom

Machine washable and king-sized, this 3 piece coverlet includes a comfortable and breathable design while also being durable.

Pros
  • Durable, but soft and breathable
  • Includes 3 piece coverlet set w/ 2 pillow shams
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • Doesn’t include a comforter
  • Tacky design

Performance

In all its colorful glory, what you might find most impressive is how comfortable the 3 piece coverlet and shams will be. They aren’t made of cotton, unfortunately; instead, it’s made of double brushed high density soft spun polyester. This makes it not only durable, but really soft and comfortable. Furthermore, it’s king-sized. That is plenty of blanket to share its comfort with another person; in fact, it would go nicely with a king sized Casper Sleep Element Mattress and Kunpeng Shredded Memory Foam Bed Pillow.

Design

As you may have noticed, the Peacock Bedroom set has a humongous peacock printed on the blankets and shams. Rather than go for a wide shot, the designers chose a close-up of the peacock to really get a good look at the vibrant greens, blues, and purples peacocks tend to have. It’s all just incredibly tacky, however. It’s going to be tough finding a bedroom, or living room, that would compliment the image of a peacock. It would look fine with an American Lifetime Premium Day Clock. On the bright side, it’s machine washable with a cold cycle, dryer safe, and iron easy.

Value

Regardless of how soft and durable The Peacock Bedroom set is by Lunarable, asking for $90 is quite a lot. For starters, wanting peacocks on your bedsheets is already niche. Far too few people would invest in it. But more importantly, it doesn’t include a comforter. You get most of a bed set: 3 piece coverlet and 2 pillow shams. There really should’ve been a comforter added, even if it were a solid color to break up all the colors, only if to justify the price.

The Peacock Bedroom Wrap Up

The Peacock Bedroom set is one tacky bed set, but one that could find a home somewhere. When it does, it can at least provide some incredible comfort with its double brushed soft spun polyester. It’s even durable being machine washable and dryer safe. We only wish a comforter was included, in addition to its 3 piece coverlet and 2 pillow shams.
