T-Mobile iPhone 5 Rumored to be Coming Tomorrow, Blackberry Z10 and LTE Network Launch to Follow

CNet is reporting that T-Mobile will announce the launch of the iPhone 5 on the carrier’s network tomorrow.  This announcement is said to dovetail with the launch of T-Mobile’s LTE network, which is also rumored to be announced at the company’s “Uncarrier” event.

Sources says that the iPhone 5 will be sold off contract, which means a retail price tag of $650 for the smallest capacity iPhone, the 16GB  version.  CNet’s sources also reported that T-Mobile will announce the Blackberry Z10 and the recently LTE-upgraded Galaxy Note 2 alongside the Apple handset.

Of note, the iPhone 5 supposedly won’t be immediately available to T-Mobile customers.  So while it will most certainly slow attrition rates, it’s not quite the stop-gap measure the company needs in their corner.  Moreover, T-Mobile’s LTE network has yet to prove itself, so it remains to be seen if they can keep pace with the likes of Verizon and AT&T, who remain the two largest carriers in the US and offer the iPhone at a heavily discounted price thanks to a 2-year contract obligations.
