When the summer hits it’s natural for you to want to start looking at the Best Grills. And if your backyard is big enough, you might be considering searching for the Best Built In Grills. To this end, you will want to check out the Summerset Grill. It comes in propane or natural gas options, and if you don’t want to go the built-in way, you can always get it freestanding too!

Why We Like It – Summerset Grill

The Summerset Grill is a workhorse of a grill that features powerful grilling briquettes and a large cooking area so you can easily cook everybody’s food. Whether that be just your family or your family and friends, the Summerset Grill can handle it.

  • 15,000 BTU Back Burner
  • Large Cooking Area
  • Flame Thrower Ignition
  • Grates not Porcelain-Enameled

The Summerset Sizzler Pro is an 18,000 BTU machine between three infrared burners, which is about 54,000 BTUs as a grand total. This is very, very high compared to the average 12,000BTU’s. It also comes with a 15,000 BTU IR Back Burner which is, again, very impressive. For a grill with similar power you can also check out the Bull Grill to compare your needs.

You can get the Summerset as a propane gas grill or in the form of natural gas grills. The choice is yours. The Napoleon Burners Prestige PRO 665 Natural Gas Grill is another great option if natural grill is what you’re looking for. The cooking surface on the Summerset grill is also an impressive 855 square inches. The grill also comes with a rotisserie kit which is a very nice feature to have that you don’t normally see.

Thanks to the stainless steel construction of the Summerset Grill you won’t have to worry about it not standing up to the elements in your outdoor kitchen. The three burners are also made from iron-cast stainless steel for, again, holding up to the elements. If you prefer a five-burner model, check out the Blaze Grill. The rotisserie feature on the Summerset also has an impressive weight capacity of 50 pounds!

Ease of Use

The Summerset Grill features a flame thrower ignition which is reliable and doesn’t require the use of electricity of batteries. On the downside, the grills are a little harder to clean because they aren’t porcelain-enameled, but they still are, at least, durable. It weighs 147 pounds, so make sure you have something sturdy built-in when you buy it. Consult a professional if you need something built.

The briquettes offer even heat distribution and eliminate cold and hot spots common on grills this size. The interior halogen lights and bright blue LED control knob let you grill even if your outdoor party is taken well into the night. There is also a temperature gauge mounted on the hood for easy reading, and the double lining of the hood protects against heat discoloration.

Summerset Grill Wrap Up

The Summerset Grill is sure to make anyone who purchases it very happy. It may be a bit of a pain to clean because of its stainless steel construction and non porcelain-enameled briquettes, but just remember how you’re going to be the life of the party thanks to your fantastic grill and superior grilling techniques.
