The SteelSeries Rival 600 offers durable build quality, an accurate sensor, and low wired click latency, making it ideal for casual gamers looking for a mouse at a mid-range budget. But its heavy body weight can be a dealbreaker for a competitive gamer.
First released back in early 2018, the SteelSeries Rival 600 is an entry-level wired gaming mouse that boasts a right-handed design along with an ergonomic design with rubber grips on both sides for comfort. Unfortunately, it only has a 6.8 feet long detachable USB cable made of rubber, which, unlike most of the best computer mouse options available in its range today, suffers from mouse drag. But it does have manually customizable RGB lighting, which you can adjust using the SteelSeries Engine 3 app, similar to many popular gaming mouse models.
If you want a wired gaming mouse from the same brand that does not suffer from the same cable drag, then make sure to take a look at our SteelSeries Rival 5 review. The SteelSeries Rival 600 mouse has nine different programmable buttons, including the clickable scroll wheel. And the mouse features a customizable 12000 DPI optical sensor.
