As far as standing desks are concerned, Stand Up Store’s Crank Adjustable Desk takes the prize for the best crank adjustable desk. While it does feel a little dated to have something adjusted by a crank instead of a hydraulics motor, the easiness of the crank mitigates that somewhat. Check out our best standing desk list to see how it stacks up!
The Stand Up Desk Store Crank Adjustable Desk is a fantastic standing desk if you’re looking to break into that world. Its heavy-duty design means it won’t fall apart on you after some use and the variable. Adjustable heights mean anyone, short or tall, can get the most out of the desk.
The Stand Up Desk Store Crank Adjustable Desk features adjustable height options for both the upper surface, 33.5” – 47.25”, and the lower surface, 29” – 43”. Overall, it has better height adjustability than the Duke adjusting standing desk. The crank adjustment is easy, smooth, and seamless. While many may consider having a crank a downside, as most other standing desks have either a motor or hydraulics, the fact that it was so easy to operate means it gets a nod from us. Still, consider the Varidesk Pro Plus 36 Desk if hand cranks really aren’t your cup of tea. The Stand Up Desk Store Crank Adjustable Desk comes in two tiers with a black top. Some people, like myself, may appreciate the minimalism, but its lack of available colors may irk some people (unlike the Zest desk which comes in silver or white). The frame is constructed of heavy-duty steel which means you don’t have to worry about it falling apart on you. It is incredibly heavy though, almost 90 pounds, and assembly can take a while. Try the ApexDesk Elite Series 60 Desk if you need something lighter and easier to assemble. Would you like to check out a standing desk with a smooth one-touch height adjustment feature? The Stand Up Desk Store Crank Adjustable Desk is both a sit/stand desk. If you ever get tired of standing, easily crank it back down and sit in a comfortable office chair. The choice is yours. The desk isn’t available on Amazon right now, but it retails on Stand Up Desk Store’s website for $300.00. If you already have a desk and are looking for more of a converter, we recommend the Seville Classics Airlift Desk for its triple-monitor capacity and its budget-friendly price.
The Stand Up Desk Store Crank Adjustable Desk comes with a nice variety of features, like a solid, heavy-duty steel frame, that you just don’t find in many other standing desks. Its lack of colors may be an issue to some, but nothing you can’t get over if you really have your heart set on working with a standing desk. However, if you’re interested in a fully electric standing desk, you’ll want to try one of the strong Vivo standing desks.
