Sprint Vital Coming June 14th for $100

Sprint Vital CNET

The Friday, the same day “The Man of Steel” hit theaters, Sprint will launch the ZTE built Vital.

The Now Network is billing this mobile phone as a mid-tier handset with a $100 price tag.  The vital features a 5-inch 720p IPS screen, a 13-megapixel camera (1mp front facing), a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, LTE radios, a 2,500mAh battery that is said to provide 15-hours of talk time, NFC, 8GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD up to 64GB, and ships with Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

The Vital by all accounts looks like a decent phone, though it likely lacks the spit and polish of Samsung’s S4 and HTC’s One.  That being said, you can still grab Sprint’s HTC One from Amazon for $80, provided of course you’re a new customer.

Note: you’ll need to “send” in a $50 mail-in-rebate or better yet, have a cell phone insurance plan.
