Sprint And Best Buy Offering A $0.99 Netbook

Sprint has officially joined the subsidized Netbook race and it looks like they’re off to a running start. Unlike Verizon and AT&T, who offer a Netbook for $200 after you sign up for their mobile broadband, Sprint and Best Buy are selling the Compaq Mini 110c-1040DX netbook for $0.99.  You’ll have to commit to two years of their mobile broadband, which costs $59.99 a month and provides up to 5GB of total bandwidth.  In order to snag this deal, you’ll need to head into your local Best Buy, but you might wanna give them a ring and make sure they’ve got it.

The 1040DX includes a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor, 16GB SSD, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch LCD, media card reader, Intel GMA 950 video card, WiFi b/g, mobile broadband chip, 3x USB ports, 3-cell battery and XP Home.
