The Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock and Bed Shaker will wake up the deaf, hard of hearing and even the deepest of sleepers. The earth shattering bed shaker and bright flashing lights will get you jumping out of bed each morning and if that doesn’t put your feet on the floor, the 113db alarm is so loud it will rattle your windows and force your eyes open. Some reports imply they were particularly scared so those with weaker hearts will want to take a look at our Best Alarm Clock in 2020 with a calming option like the LBell LB01 Sunrise Alarm Clock as just one example.
Why We Like It – Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock and Bed Shaker
The Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock and Bed Shaker is pretty popular on Amazon and is built for everyone from heavy sleepers to the hard of hearing or deaf. What makes it special is more than the loud noises but the sheer amount of options it offers. The Sonic bomb has a powerful 113 dB extra-loud alarm with an adjustable volume and tone, built-in pulsating lights, and a powerful 12-volt bed shaker that you can put underneath your mattress or pillow to be shaken awake. It also comes with a year-long manufacturer’s warranty.
It took a couple mornings for some to get used to it but those who’d kept with it wished that I’d gotten it years ago. One of the best perks is that you can customize it to fit your life or your deep sleep, for example you can set it to only the vibration or you can have just the extra loud alarm you could also just do the alert lights and vibrating alarm if you have thin walls or any other combination. Some have indicated their alarm would break or stop working if they had a back up battery in, and pure speculation on our part would be that the clock defaults to the battery backup rather than the cord for some reason.
The alarm clock isn’t the most high end looking unlike the American Lifetime Premium Day Clock, with a black and red design of the Sonic Boom Alarm, you can pay more for a nicer finish like the red or blue model for example. Some have also wished that the bed shaker was wireless for the alarm clock, but the wire is rather long 5-6ft or that the volume control was a button over the more traditional dial.
While not as cheap as the Travelway Home LED Digital Alarm Clock the Sonic Boom Alarm Clock is perfect for the hearing impaired, with it’s dual alarm of sound and sight, the chance of it breaking, ether not going off or the snooze button getting stuck, seems high but if you do have any problems Sonic Alert’s customer service will be more than willing to give you a hand on any business days.
Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock and Bed Shaker Wrap Up
If you have trouble getting up in the morning or having control over your sleep schedule, or if you’d prefer to wake up to movement or flashing rather than an extremely loud and annoying beeping then we don’t think there’s much chance that you’ll be disappointed in the Alert Sonic Bomb alarm clock. Just make sure not to put the backup battery in as it seems to cause problems.
