Overall, the Skullcandy Spoke earbuds are a good value, entry-level pick, especially for active users, but their overemphasized bass levels and limited sound customization may be a dealbreaker for some.
Announced in 2021, the Skullcandy Spoke True Wireless earbuds are a basic pair of in-ear headphones that athletes may appreciate because of their IPX4 rating for splash and water resistance.
The earbuds are compact for a snug fit, but they do not offer support for Active Noise Cancellation, and they also miss out on a companion app for EQ sound settings. These features are very common among the best headphones.
Unfortunately, the Bluetooth wireless earbuds don’t support multi-device connectivity or NFC pairing, but for its control scheme, the touch-sensitive earbuds can be used to manage both calls and audio playback.
While there’s no mute/unmute controls for its integrated microphone, the earbuds can be used while charging like most highly-rated wireless earbuds, and they ship with three pairs of different-sized ear tips for added comfort.
Lastly, the earbuds each have an 8mm driver for a bass heavy sound profile.
