The Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones are well-built, lightweight, and have soft pads, making them moderately comfortable. But the headphones have a tight fit, which can get tiring after long usage. Design-wise, they boast a durable construction and adjustable clamp force.
Like most open-back designs, these headphones have a warm, open sound profile, great for mids and trebles. However, they also struggle to provide a deep bass. While they excel in studio-like listening experiences, they are not ideal for on-the-go use due to their lack of any controls and an ANC feature and have poor sound leakage.
When tested, the headphones had a very bad overall attenuation of -3.1 dB, which is super low. They also leak a lot of noise, making them ideal for office settings. Another two main drawbacks are the headphone’s lack of customization features and a microphone.
