The ROCCAT Vulcan Pro was considered by testers as an outstanding gaming keyboard that has super low latency and light-to-press key switches. Product testers from Rtings were pleased that the keyboard shipped with a wrist rest and that it also had well-visible RGB backlighting.
During their typing experiments, they were glad that the keyboard had a very low typing noise and that its lighting sequence and some of its keys could be macro-programmed through its ROCCAT Swarm software. This is slightly different from the SteelSeries Apex 3, where all its keys are macro-programmable – check out our SteelSeries Apex 3 review for more info.
However, the ROCCAT Vulcan Pro had some critics a bit disappointed since they couldn’t preview the RGB lighting sequence or typing sounds that they would want to apply. Other testers feared that its ultra-responsive key switches might cause typing errors and were not impressed with its lack of wireless capabilities.
