If you’re looking for the best electric for kids ranging around 13+, something that crosses into the best electric moped category, then you’ll be pleased by the Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro. For starters, it can take off at 15mph, which is the right kind of speed for young kids, and not too dangerous. For your teenagers, this may be the best electric scooter.

Why We Like It – Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro

Stylish and fast, the Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro Moped picks up speeds of 15mph and does so in vintage-inspired styles. It’s basically a scaled-down Euro-style scooter! For another option with speed and acceleration, read our Razor Electric Street Bike review. Alternatively, if you don’t mind a gas-powered option, the TAO 49cc is another moped you can check out. And if you prefer more of a kick-style scooter, you can read our Razor power Core E90 electric scooter review. • Can take off at 15mph
  • Has secret storage under the seat
  • Snazzy designs
  • A single charge provides 40 mins of riding

The chain-driven, high-performance electric motor can get this bad boy all the way to 15mph, which is 5 miles faster than the Razor E100 Electric Scooter. It’s done by easy-to-use twist throttle. The 12” pneumatic tires also give the motorized scooter a nice, smooth ride. The Razor Pocket Mod has some decent power thanks to the high-torque chain and 24v battery. The recommended age group for this electric scooter is 8 to 18, but older kids and adults under 150 pounds can ride it too. If you’re concerned that your child may not understand how to ride an electric scooter, we have a guide for you. You can check out our comparison of the Razor E100 vs E150 electric scooter models here if you want to see more options.

With this in mind, are electric bikes street-legal? Generally speaking, they are, and they’re allowed on roads and paths to a certain degree.

The brakes are controlled via handbrake, which has decent stopping power, though it will be a slight learning curve. Despite what the picture appears to represent, the Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro doesn’t have working headlights, unfortunately.

Battery Life

Fun can’t last forever, but the Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro’s approach to battery life is something else entirely. On a single battery charge, your kid will get 40 mins of fun. They’ll then have to wait an excruciating 12 hours before riding again, just like the Razor E300.

Made of lightweight metal and plastic, the Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro isn’t winning any awards for using high-quality materials, but it’s durable and strong enough to have a maximum weight of 170 lbs. It does get bonus points for being very stylish with its vintage-inspired designs, like the Betty and the Vapor. The padded seat is comfy enough for kids, with a hidden compartment underneath for storage.

For as fast as the Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro can go, $270 is a small price to pay for your kids to enjoy a fast and fun ride for an hour outside. It handles well, and it’s easy to use. For a young kid, that’s more than they can ask for. In fact, it’s on par with the Tomoloo Electric Scooter, and that’s $130 more, and you can’t even sit down.

Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro Wrap Up

The Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro has everything your kid will ever want: speed and an hour of fun on a fast, stylish little pocket scooter. They don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand how it works, brakes well, and there’s even a small compartment to store a few choice items.
