Pros:
Cons:
The Hovertrax 2.0 has a very nice design, making it more stylish than most hoverboards, and the build quality is on par with all of the best on the market. I really love that design and build. The style is great thanks to features like the cool-blue LED light bar display, battery level indicator, and a nicely shaped fender bumper on each side. Each fender bumper is angled in a cool way. This model is UL 2272 certified, so it meets the highest electrical safety standards and has all of the safety features needed to earn that certification. You know you are getting a safe hoverboard. The Hovertrax 2.0 weighs just about 20 pounds and has a maximum rider weight of 220 pounds. That weight capacity means that most adults can ride it too. It features riding modes for training and normal use. The training mode is for new riders, while the normal mode is for everyone else.
The Razor Hovertrax 2.0 has two powerful 350watt motors that give it a fair amount of torque, but not too much for your kid. It has a top speed of about 8 miles per hour, which is just fast enough for kids who are newer to hoverboards. But kids who are more familiar with hoverboards will also love it. It has a battery life of about 60 minutes of continuous use per charge, but you can get more by using the quick-change 36v lithium-ion battery pack. That’s how you get more battery power with this model.

The 36v Lithium Ion battery will charge in 6 hours for the first time and up to 4 hours after that. That’s not a bad charging time for a lithium-ion battery in a hoverboard of this class. However, if you want a quicker charge time, the Skque Self-Balancing scooter charges in around 2 hours.
This Razor Hovertrax 2.0 Hoverboard has a decent build quality, so it can take what your child dishes out and last for a long time. The large deck for extra foot room is a nice feature of Razor Hovertrax, and I love the design of this hoverboard for kids. I found it to have a very smooth ride, and the self-balancing feature is based on Razor’s EverBalance technology, which makes this an ideal hoverboard for kids of any experience level. The bottom line here is that there is a reason this model is so popular. Razor got all of the details just right for a great ride and a great experience.
