The Razer Huntsman Mini had product testers praise its compact size, varied customization options, and exceptional gaming performance. Reviewers from Rtings were delighted that they could reprogram keys and set macros through the Razer Synapse 3 software, and they also found out that they could use the same software to customize its RGB lighting. Per their typing tests, the reviewers commended the keyboard’s PBT keycaps and were glad its Razer Optical switches were very responsive.
Testers from Tom’s Hardware also liked how clicky and stable the Razer Optical switches made its keys and how light they felt when typing. They also liked its ultra-low latency and high build quality.
However, testers complained that the Razor Optical switches resulted in a loud typing noise. The Razer Huntsman Tournament, which we’ve covered in our Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition review, is much quieter thanks to its Razer Linear Optical key switches. They also didn’t like its lack of dedicated macro keys and the missing wireless connectivity.
