The Razer Huntsman Mini Analog had testers pleased with how customizable it was and its suitability for gaming. They liked that its RGB backlighting sequence was programmable and that they could adjust its brightness levels.
Courtesy of the Mini Analog’s Analog Optical switches, reviewers from Tom’s Guide were also able to reprogram the actuation distance of every individual key during their tests – something you won’t quite be able to do on the Razer Huntsman Elite, which we covered in our Razer Huntsman Elite review.
The reprogramming was done through the keyboard’s Razer Synapse software, which, they noted, had advanced features such as having users assign two functions to a key. Top-tier testers from Rtings also lauded its outstandingly low latency and liked that all its keys were programmable.
However, testers did not appreciate its lack of wireless connectivity and loud typing noise. They also lamented its lack of a wrist rest.
