The Pulsar X2 Mini wireless mouse is a well-built wireless mouse that excels with gaming thanks to its low click latency, consistent sensor performance, and comfortable, symmetrical design. Though it lacks some gamer-specific features like RGB lighting, this mouse is an excellent choice overall.

Overview

First released back in late 2022, the Pulsar X2 Mini Wireless is a high-end ambidextrous gaming mouse that boasts an ergonomic shape for fingertip grippers. Similar to some of the highest-ranked computer mouse options available in the market, this model features both wireless (through a USB receiver, no built-in storage space) and wired connectivity (through the USB-C port, which also supports USB-C charging). But unlike the best-rated gaming mouse models in its range, this mouse does not have manually customizable RGB lighting.

If manually customizable RGB lighting is one of your mandatory requirements in a wireless gaming mouse, then make sure to take a look at our NZXT Lift Mouse review. The Pulsar X2 Mini Wireless model features six different mouse buttons, including the ribbed scroll wheel, that you can easily program using the Pulsar Fusion Wireless software. And it features a built-in rechargeable battery with a 70-hour battery life.

our Verdict

The Pulsar X2 Mini wireless mouse features a sturdy plastic shell with excellent build quality that comes in a variety of different colors. With a comfortable symmetrical shape, this mouse fits most hand sizes well, though it’s limited to a right-hand configuration. Unfortunately, the mouse lacks any kind of RGB lighting, but its six buttons are all programmable using the included user-friendly companion software. The scroll wheel is easy to use, but it doesn’t offer tilt or free-scrolling functionality.

Even though it may not look it, the X2 Mini is a gaming mouse thanks to its impressively low click latency of just 6.4 ms during testing and adjustable sensitivity of up to 26,000 DPI. Plus, with an impressive battery life of 70 hours, you’ll be gaming for longer.
