For budget-seekers and the elderly, you can’t go wrong with the best steam vacuum cleaner, the O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Mop. It does what many have done before, destroying 99.9% of germs and bacteria, but it does so with a triangular-shaped mop head. And its weight? Just 5 lbs! That makes it lightweight and easy to wield.

We’re sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock

Why We Like It – O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Mop

The O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Mop trades in the traditional rectangular-shaped mop head for a triangular one designed to clean corners, edges of walls, and hard-to-reach areas.

  • Triangular mop head reaches corners
  • Heats tap water tank in 20 seconds
  • Lightweight design
  • Small floor cleaning potential
  • Eventually replace microfiber pads

It takes 20 seconds of prep time to get the steam going, so all 120V are put to good use. More importantly, the balance between performance and comfortable design makes cleaning a cinch. It’s ideal, especially with the ability to control the jets of steam when necessary. But, not all steam cleaners are alike, as you’ll find significant differences in our write-ups of the McCulloch heavy-duty steam cleaner and the Sienna Luna plus steam.

Speed & Efficiency

The O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Cleaner has a smaller cleaning path than a Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe. To circumvent that, it has a triangular mop head and 5 lbs of weight. Shark Genius uses a traditional shape, but the triangular head shape allows for O-Cedar steam mops to run along walls and corners. All the while it’s effectively killing 99.9% of germs and bacteria.

Bin Capacity & Maintenance

Maintenance is fairly straightforward with the O-Cedar Steam Pocket Mops. Simply rinse out the small 12-oz water tank and toss the mop pads into the washer, up to 25 times.

That means after 25 washes, the microfiber pads will have to be replaced. That’s a fair amount of durability we like to see, reducing the overall cost of upkeep. Its construction is (unsurprising to no one) mostly plastic.

Picking up an O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Cleaner on its own isn’t worth considering if you don’t have a dry vacuum. For that, we suggest buying both an O-Cedar and Tineco Pure One S12 together for the ultimate top to bottom cleaning experience. Shark steamers are usually cheaper, sure, but don’t have that triangular design that makes the O-Cedar perform so well. For deep carpet cleaning, the Hoover Smartwash is an ideal choice on a budget.

O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Mop Wrap Up

O-Cedar Microfiber Steam Cleaners are the best steam cleaners for elderly individuals, budget-seekers, and clean freaks. It provides great performance to price ratio with its triangular-shaped cleaning head. And its 5 lbs weight makes it really easy to handle. All you have to do is plug it in, wait 20 seconds and it’s good to go!
