The Newest Syma X20 mini drone is pretty much as good as it gets if you are searching for a cheap drone. It features a lot of specs that you usually see on high-end quadcopters. And that makes it one of the best contenders for the best indoor drone rank. While it may not be one of the top-rated drones, it sure works perfectly.
The name “Newest Syma X20 Mini Pocket Drone Headless Mode” is a bit of a mouthful for sure. But it is the perfect drone for you, if you don’t need a camera on your drone. It features both one key take-off and landing, which is rare at this price.
The remote control features both a high-speed mode and a low-speed mode. Depending on the speed and the wind, you can get pretty much about 6-7 minutes of flight time out of this nano LED RC quadcopter. Thankfully, the remote control does have a low battery indicator. But, if you are strictly looking for a high-speed drone, the DJI Spark Remote Controlled drone should suit your needs very well. Take a look at our Parrot Anafi Drone review for a drone that works great all while silent.
As it is an indoor drone, the range is also not all that great. If there’s no 2.4Ghz congestion in your area, you can get up to 22 meters of range. But with congestion, that number comes down to only 15 meters. If you need more range, pick up the Tello Quadcopter Drone instead.
This RC drone is made out of plastic. However, it’s not some cheap off-the-shelf plastic. The Syma X20 Mini Pocket Drone is entirely made out of durable and high-quality ABS plastic. It’s even more well-made than something like the Holy Stone HS200 Drone, which costs more.
A huge downside of the Newest Syma X20 Mini Pocket Drone is that it doesn’t have a camera, which is just like the Hubsan X4 H107L. And the whole body is so small that you can’t even mod a camera onto the mainboard, even if you wanted to.

This nano LED RC quadcopter is excellent value for money, considering the many features it comes with, for just 37 bucks. And just like most other drones, it’s also shipped directly by Amazon. So you should get free shipping and free returns easily in most parts of the United States.

All in all, the Newest Syma X20 is excellent for both kids and adults for getting into drones for the first time. It might not have a camera, but it does have pretty much all the advanced traversal features costly drones usually come with.
