NBA 2K14 Pre-Order Bonus Comparison (All Platforms)

They might as well call this LeBron James 2K14. Hah. Next week’s release of NBA 2K14 is now officially available for pre-order on all platforms (PC Steam version just came online today). The best price we’ve seen for the PC pre-order of NBA 2K14 is a measly $22.50 – talk about dirt cheap when compared to the console versions.

If you’re to pick up an early copy of the October 1st released NBA 2K14, pre-orders are available at multiple retailer on multiple platforms. If you’re an Xbox 360 or PS3 console gamer, no price breaks exist yet but there are LeBron James themed pre-order bonuses aplenty with others to make it worth your while. If you’re a PC gamer you’ll be shelling out a lot less cash, but we suspect most gamers looking at this title are console gamers.

All pre-order copies for the Xbox 360 and PS3 include the King James DLC pack which unlocks LeBron James in Blacktop Mode, gives LeBron a signature skill (whatever that means), 10,000 in virtual currency, and extra content for “Path to Greatness Mode”.

  2. I pre order this game and pick it up on the release date. I got home and checked the receipt for the doc but when I tried to input the codes it doesn’t work. I bought this at ebgames. I called them in regards to this and I was told to call 2k number. :(

    1. hmm that’s kinda lame of EBGames… your best bet is to email 2K Sports support with a picture of your receipt and let them knwo that the pre-order codes doesn’t work…

  3. I pre ordered the game more than two weeks before it came out and I didn’t get the dlc lebron James pack. Can someone tell me why?? Plz help thanks. PS I ordered it on amazon for my psthree

    1. Check with Amazon. You’re suppose to get a pre-order code of sorts. Maybe check your spam box or check your order history info… generally extra details can be found there

  4. Do you need an active XBOX Live Gold account to acquire the bonus pack for NBA 2k14? Is the code on my Best Buy receipt?

    1. hmm so unlike 2K13, i dont think NBA 2k14 has the slamdunk and 3-pointers contest bonus anymore… at least I don’t see any mentions of it at all on 2K’s website or any store front.
