The MSI GE75 Raider comes in as the #4 best laptop for League of Legends. Offering excellent performance, a 17.3” FHD display, and a wide variety of connection ports, any gamer would be happy to get their hands on this! Of course, like anything else, it does have some shortcomings (like the battery life), but overall this is one of the best gaming laptops available!

Why We Like It – MSI GE75 RTX 2070 Review

In this MSI GE75 RTX 2070 Review, we’ll go over what makes this gaming laptop worth nearly $2,400! From 64 GB of RAM to a refresh rate of 144Hz, this laptop has a lot to offer gamers!

  • 64 GB of RAM
  • 4 TB of Storage Space (2 TB SSD & 2 TB HDD)
  • A High Refresh Rate of 144Hz
  • Doesn’t Have Nvidia Max Q
  • Expensive

Power & Performance

You can expect excellent things from this $2,399 laptop (a much cheaper option is the Lenovo Legion Y540). The FHD display has a glossy finish and a brightness of 360 nits. There is minor light bleeding, but nothing major. You definitely won’t run out of memory even when playing memory-intensive games, thanks to the GE75’s 64 GB of RAM! You also won’t run out of storage, because this laptop has 4 TB of storage space. Of course, the gaming experience is important too, and this laptop delivers a high refresh rate of 144 Hz thanks to the Intel Core i7processor.

On the other hand, the battery performance is a real (but expected) weakness of this laptop. MSI includes a battery calibration tool built-in to the computer, but even with a healthy battery, you should only expect about 4 hours of battery life (assuming you’re just watching videos). If you’re gaming, 4 hours of battery life may be ambitious to expect. Unfortunately, the MSI GE75 RTX 2070 only comes with a 51 Wh internal battery, so this is just something you will have to deal with.

Ports & Expandability

There’s a good selection of inputs & outputs on this laptop. The GE75 has 3 USB 3.1 ports (which have a red glow), one USB-C port, an ethernet port, an HDMI port, a mini DisplayPort, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, & an SD card reader. With such a wide variety of connections available, you won’t have any trouble hooking this laptop up to your current gaming setup. Need a camera? Don’t worry – MSI included a 720p webcam on this laptop as well!

Build Quality

MSI put a lot of effort into this premium laptop. It has an aluminum back with red highlights on the sides & the MSI logo in the middle. The laptop has a 17.3” FHD display; below that is an aluminum keyboard deck. Individual per key RGB lighting can be adjusted to your preference. The laptop also has lighting (red accents only) around the mousepad, which is fairly large and has two buttons. The base of the GE75 is made of ABS plastic, so it will be very durable under normal use.

At $2,399.99, the MSI GE75 RTX definitely isn’t cheap, but it isn’t the most expensive laptop either (you can pick up an Asus ROG Strix Scar III for about the same price). For the price, you get free shipping (but no free returns), and that’s it. Your purchase will be covered by the Amazon Return Policy, but there’s no warranty mentioned. If you want a protection plan, you can buy a 2-year plan for $174.99 or a 4-year plan for $249.99. Fortunately, this laptop receives excellent reviews, scoring a perfect 5 out of 5-stars based on 10 Amazon ratings.

MSI GE75 RTX 2070 Review Wrap Up

The MSI GE75 RTX 2070 is no-doubt a top contender as one of the best gaming laptops on the market today! With 64 GB of RAM, 4 TB of storage space, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, this laptop is definitely worth the $2,399.99 it demands.
