If there’s one thing that’s important to anyone trying to get any serious work done on their tablet, it’s a reliable, working keyboard. It’s an absolute necessity when away from the office. But the problem with the majority of tablet keyboards is that they’re either too small because manufacturers know how important it is to be travel size, or it’s too big, and therefore suffers much in the line of being travel-worthy. Now, Microsoft has set out to bring a solution to the masses: the Universal Foldable Keyboard.
The Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard is incredibly thin, lightweight and has a compact design that makes traveling with it more plausible. The keyboard folds in half, and all you have to do to set it up is open it, turn it on and pair it with your device. In fact, the Foldable Keyboard is designed to work with iPad, iPhone, Android and Windows devices, and can be simultaneously paired with any two compatible devices at the same time. To switch between devices, it is a simple touch on the keyboard. This connectivity, ease of use and size allows the Foldable Keyboard to let you power through your inbox, get some writing done, or quickly respond to text messages. The keyboard is also spill-resistant.
The Universal Foldable Keyboard will be widely available in July 2015 for an estimated MSRP of $99.95 via the Microsoft Store and other major retailers.
