Microsoft Surface Book 1TB To Cost $3,199

Looking for your next laptop…with 1TB of storage?  Then look no further than the Surface Book.  Yup, you heard right.  Microsoft will have a 1TB version – SSD of course – of their 2-in-1 laptop that is set to face off against Apple’s Macbook Air and Macbook Pro.

However, the 1TB configuration will cost you a wallet wrenching $3,199.  That’s a $500 premium over the 512GB version, which costs $2,699.  But with that you’ll get a machine that can double as a tablet, as the screen is completely detachable.  Beat that Apple.  Which Im sure they eventually will, but for now, Microsoft, yes Microsoft, has taken the lead in respects to this type of computing power.

Other specs will include a Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 13.5-inch touchscreen display (3000 x 2000), Windows 10, a 12 hour battery life, dedicated graphics and a total weight of 3.34lbs (the tablet part ways 1.6lbs).

Shipping you ask?  Apparently the Microsoft Surface Book won’t make it to consumers’ hands for another 7-8 weeks.
