If you’re in the market for the best air purifier, your next move is to decide on why you need it. Should it be the best whole-house air purifier or the best large room air purifier? The Medify Air excels at being either-or, and for an excellent price. You can see this by its power and higher-grade HEPA filtration system.
Handling a small office with ease, the Medify Air is perfect for purifying the air in very large quantities. On top of that, it uses a 4-stage filtration system and medical-grade True HEPA H13 filters for improved air quality.
The Medify Air has the kind of fan power to rival that of Dyson’s own lineup. This is because it’s running off of 95 watts of power. There’s four different speeds from which to choose. However, its highest fan speed can get pretty noisy.
But, despite being noisy in whichever mode you choose, the device is great for reducing harmful particles, pollutants, allergens, pet hair, and smoke. Making use of the timer will help you save on energy and use the air purifier only when necessary.
Place it in a room as big as 2400 square feet, and it’ll easily have the air sufficiently cleaned in an hour. And if you drop its air changes per hour to just one, you can even clean a 3700 square foot area. You can also go through our Mammoth air purifier review to get an air purifier with a coverage of 3500 square feet. What’s interesting is the fact that the Alen BreatheSmart Classic Large Room Air Purifier covers half as many square feet, but for the same price.
However, if you’re a fan of the Medify brand, you’ll want to review other models, such as the Medify MA-25 air purifier, MA-14 air purifier, and the Medify Air MA-50.
Like the Oransi Max HEPA Air Purifier, the Medify Air has a 4-stage filtration system. The pre-filter first captures larger particles. Any smaller airborne particles (0.3 microns) then come face to face with the True HEPA filter. The carbon filter handles toxic odors and formaldehyde, whereas the ionizer traps particles, preventing them from escaping into the open air.
The overall size of this air purifier is quite large. But, being tall and wide, the Medify Air isn’t easily knocked over, despite being made of plastic, like the Koios Upgraded purifier. It was built with thicker plastic, giving it great durability without making it weigh two tonnes. You couldn’t ask for a sturdier unit. For those who are looking for a personal air purifier then it may be worth going through our MIFAVOR Mini air purifier review.
The Medify Air is powerful, perhaps too powerful. If its performance is overkill, the Coway Airmega 400 covers 1560 square feet for $100 cheaper. But if you do stick to it, you won’t be disappointed; however, you do need to come to terms with the replacement filter costs. Outside of that, it’s worth every single penny. Not to say other units like the Levoit Core 300 or the Oion Technologies aren’t, but they are cheaper options.
The Medify Air offers power and efficiency, like so few do. Its airflow speeds are strong enough to cover 2400 square feet, sometimes more! And the air you’ll get to breathe is much more cleaner, thanks to its 4-stage filtration system, which includes a medical-grade True HEPA filter. Just know it’s a big investment and a bit loud at the highest setting.
