our Verdict
While the Logitech Signature M650 satisfies in terms of its quietness, two-year expected battery life, ergonomic shape and design, and durable construction, it does have a few drawbacks. The lack of multi-device pairing may be inconvenient for those who use multiple devices regularly. Additionally, the scroll wheel’s default mode can be jerky, although this can be mitigated by adjusting the settings. It also lacks a dedicated thumb wheel and L/R scroll wheel tilts.
The mouse’s latency was tested at 12 ms, and has only two programmable side buttons, but you can program gesture controls. Overall, the M650 offers a comfortable and customizable experience for office work or to take on the go.

With adjustable sensitivity of up to 4,000 CPI, the Logitech Signature M650 is more suitable to mouse enthusiasts than the Logitech M510, which only goes up to 2,200 CPI. It also connects both via Bluetooth and a USB receiver, offering multi-device pairing, unlike the Logitech M510, which only connects via a USB wireless receiver. Otherwise, these two devices are similar mice with a contoured shape. See our Logitech M510 review for details.
