The Logitech G705 Aurora is a well-built mouse with low latency, multiple connectivity options, a comfortable right-hand design for small-handed gamers, and an attractive three-zone RGB. It’s a well-performing mouse that doesn’t really stand out from the crowd or offer anything special.
First released in mid-2022, the Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse is a high-end product that boasts a right-handed design along with ergonomics for both palm grip and claw grip types.
Similar to many of the best-rated computer mouse options available in its range, this model features both wireless (through a USB receiver and Bluetooth connectivity) and wired connectivity and has built-in storage for the USB receiver. And just like many of the highest-ranked gaming mouse models, it has an extremely low wireless latency of just 1 ms.
The Logitech G705 Aurora Gaming Mouse features six mouse buttons (including the scroll wheel) that you can customize using the Logitech G Hub companion software.
If you need more customizable buttons and require a wireless gaming mouse from the same manufacturer, visit our Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED review. The G705 features a built-in rechargeable battery that delivers around 40 hours of battery life.

our Verdict
The Logitech G705 Aurora has a premium, durable build with zero flex and a rubber-coated 24-step notched scroll wheel with no L/R tilt or free scrolling.
Its Logitech G Hub software is easy to use but occasionally buggy on Windows and macOS, and there’s a dedicated CPI button for customization. The battery is better than the Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED, but still low at 40 hours (RGB on), and is slightly heavy at 85g.
It has a low tested latency of 2.1ms (wired), 2.6ms (wireless USB receiver), and 11.9ms (Bluetooth). The mouse’s compact right-hand design is ideal for small-handed gamers who rely on palm and claw grips, and the mouse feet ensure an excellent glide.
Overall, the mouse looks attractive with its soft aesthetic and three-zone RGB.

While the Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse is mainly geared toward right-handed users, the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED mouse boasts an ambidextrous design. On the other hand, despite both being wireless gaming mice, only the Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse supports both Bluetooth connectivity and comes with a single USB receiver, unlike the G305, which only features a dongle and doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity. And the G705 features a significantly better build quality.

At just 68 grams, the Glorious Model D is a much more lightweight gaming mouse when compared to the 85.4-gram Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse. However, this is mainly because the Glorious Model D is a strictly wired gaming mouse, while the Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless, as the name suggests, supports both wired and wireless connectivity and features a built-in rechargeable battery. And the Logitech G705 Aurora unit features a significantly more premium and durable overall build quality.

Unlike the Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse, which only has six programmable buttons, the Razer Orochi V2 sports a whopping 14 different tactile buttons. And the Razer Orochi V2 gaming mouse features a significantly better 18000 DPI gaming-grade sensor in comparison to the Logitech G705 Aurora’s 8000 DPI optical sensor. On the other hand, the G705 has a built-in rechargeable battery, whereas the V2 requires an alkaline battery. And the Logitech G Hub software is compatible with macOS.

The older Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT mouse is a direct predecessor to the newer Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse. And the newer Logitech G705 Aurora Wireless Gaming Mouse features manually customizable soft RGB lighting that you can customize using the Logitech G Hub companion software, which the older Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT mouse lacks. However, at just 61.1 grams, the older Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT does have a more lightweight maneuverability than the G705 unit.
