While the Logitech G PRO garnered praise from expert testers due to its low latency and customizable RGB lighting, some reviewers still felt that the keyboard’s loud typing noise and missing wrist rest were huge negatives. They also didn’t appreciate its lack of wireless capabilities.

our Verdict

The Logitech G PRO had testers quite pleased with its super low latency and its wide range of customization features. The testing team at Rtings was satisfied with how responsive the G PRO Keyboard was, and they attributed this to its low latency of 5.2ms.
.They were also impressed with its programmability and found it very easy to set up through the Logitech G Hub software. Through it, they could also set up six different user profiles, but if a lightweight and compact design is more important to you than customizable key mapping, then our Logitech Folio Touch review may be worth looking into.
Reviewers from The Gaming Setup were also delighted that the G PRO had customizable RGB lighting. Still, gamers who would be content with white backlighting are welcome to check out our Logitech G413 SE review.
The G PRO also had shortcomings, as testers were unimpressed by its loud typing noise. They also didn’t like its lack of wireless functionality and its lack of a wrist rest.

Overview
The Logitech G Pro is a mid-tier, wired, and tenkeyless keyboard that was first released in late 2021. It weighs about 2.16 pounds and measures 14.2 by 6 inches, and unlike even some of the best keyboards on the market, it boasts exclusive Logitech GX Blue Clicky switches. The keyboard also has a super low latency of 5.3ms, putting it in the same league as some of the highest-rated gaming keyboards currently available.
It’s RGB backlighting is well visible even during the day, and its patterns are effects can be customized depending on the user’s preferences. Ergonomics are taken care of by its two incline settings, but if this is more of a priority than other things, then a split keyboard such as the Matias Ergo Pro might be worth considering. We’ve covered it in our Matias Ergo Pro review.
