Expert Rating

If you’re looking for a webcam that offers ultra high resolution image quality, the Logitech Brio webcam is an excellent choice. This Logitech camera is one of the best webcams for video conferencing and streaming. It gets an USB C connection that delivers fast and high quality transmission.

Why We Like It – Logitech Brio

The Logitech Brio offers ultra HD 4K video quality, which is not very common among web cameras. It features 5X digital zoom and also works well in low-light thanks to the automatic exposure using Rightlight 3 technology. It even supports Windows Hello and has dual omni-directional built-in microphones.

Pros
  • 4K ultra HD video
  • 5X digital zoom
  • Windows Hello support
Cons
  • Expensive

Performance

The Logitech Brio is a powerful web camera with high quality optic and lens that delivers up to 4K UHD video recording, streaming, and calling. It also supports 1080p and 720p video resolutions. The webcam can automatically adjust image quality with HDR and uses RightLight 3 for auto exposure settings. You also get 5x digital zoom, two in-built omni-directional microphones with noise cancellation, and the ability to choose between three different fields of view. The Logitech C930E is another good web camera from the company.

Design

The Brio has a simple and minimal design with a clamp that allows it to be attached to monitors, laptops, and other devices. All of its sensors are available at the front, which consist of the 4K UHD sensor, an infrared unit for Windows Hello security, a RightLight 3 camera for low-light improvement, and dual microphones. A USB Type C slot is available at the back of the camera. The Anivia 1080p HD Webcam is a good alternative, and is cheaper since it doesn’t offer UHD resolution and other features.

Value

Unlike other Logitech webcams such as the Logitech C920, the Brio costs a lot of money. Of course, you do get 4K video streaming and recording, but most people would be happy with 1080p resolution. The webcam comes with a USB Type C cable that supports both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 Type A output. It also comes with a camera app that offers several customisation options, including the ability to change the field of view. The camera supports 65, 78, and 90 degrees of view. You can also try out the Aukey PC-LM1 Webcam.

Logitech Brio Wrap Up

The Logitech Brio is an excellent choice if quality matters to you the most. With 4K ultra HD resolution support, and RightLight 3.0 with HDR, this webcam delivers crisp and detailed videos in most conditions. It also gets Windows Hello support with an infrared sensor, and has 5x digital zoom. However, all these features does make the Brio an expensive camera.
