If you’re looking for the best smartwatch for an affordable price, look no further than the LETSCOM Fitness Tracker. By cutting back on features that aren’t necessary, the LETSCOM ID115Plus HR provides all the fitness tracking you need while still offering basic smartwatch functionality at a price that’s hard to beat. Speaking of tracking, you could also use our Looxcie LX2 wearable video cam review for video tracking in general. The LETSCOM Fitness Tracker finds a happy medium between affordability, performance, and features without sacrificing functionality that matters most. If you want another way to track your fitness growth, you should also read our review of the Activ5: lets you exercise anywhere.
To be a fitness tracker, there’s an expectation; track steps, heart rate monitoring, distance traveled, calories burned, active minutes. The LETSCOM Fitness Tracker HR ID115Plus does all that, and then some through the VeryFitPro App. Additionally, it has sleep tracking, has GPS, and you can even read messages from Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Twitter so you’ll never miss a message again. It can directly challenge the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier.

If there’s anything wrong with the LETSCOM Fitness Tracker is that it isn’t water-proof like the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch. It has a water-resistant rating of IP67—it’ll be fine on a run in the rain, but you won’t be diving into any pools or taking showers with it. Not even the water-proof model, which is IP68, should be worn in the pool.
The LETSCOM Fitness Tracker has a rather sleek and appealing design. Not quite flashy as other fitness trackers like, say, a Apple Watch Series 4, but it has some charm to it and a wider variety of colors. Its screen is small, but its display is big enough and clear enough to see the readings. However, on a particularly bright day, it can be a little more difficult to read.
What’s really cool is how it charges, which you’ll be doing every 7 to 10 days. By removing one of the straps, you reveal a hidden USB dongle. Insert into a nearby USB port and it’ll fully charge within 1 to 2 hours. Speaking of USB, check out our Looxcie LX 2 Wearable Video Cam review, if you are looking for a camera to use with your smartwatch.
Not only is the LETSCOM ID115Plus HR an excellent fitness tracker, it doubles as a smart watch. Sure, it doesn’t have all the gizmos and gadgets that popular brands run, but for someone who just wants basic smart watch functionalities and accurate fitness tracking, it’s an excellent option. For the features you do get, you simply cannot argue with that price.
The LETSCOM Fitness Tracker can stand toe-to-toe with other popular brands, like Android and Apple, in terms of performance without a heavy price. It too is a smartwatch and fitness tracker wrapped into one. It isn’t as water-proof as we’d like it to be (no swimming or showers), but its list of features more than makes up for it.
