Lasko products are known for the value for money proposition they bring to the table. The Lasko Air Stick Tabletop Fan is just the continuation of that. It’s a compact tower fan that packs in a lot for its price. The big vents might disqualify it from the best fan for baby room crown, but it’s still one of the best fans for college dorms you can get at this price.

Why We Like It – Lasko Air Stick Tabletop Fan

Oscillating tower fans are quite hard to find at cheaper rates. But the Lasko Air Stick Tabletop Fan is a cheap ultra slim oscillating fan that has enough power for its size. And the price doesn’t affect the quality in any way; it’s still a very durable and premium-feeling desk fan.

Pros
  • Slim design allows it to fit pretty much anywhere
  • Powerful motor and fan
  • Made out of good quality plastic
Cons
  • Grills are way too big, making it easy for kids and pets to stick their fingers or paws through

Performance/Power

Don’t be fooled by the size of this little desk fan. It has two different speed settings, and even with its small footprint, this tower fan can push a lot of air through. The big openings also help a lot. If you need a tower fan with more speed settings, consider getting the PELONIS 36-Inch Tower Fan.

Durability/Build

Seeing its price, one might think it’s cheaply made and won’t last long. However, that’s not the case at all. It’s very well built and durable and should last you for years to come. For more sturdy devices, check out our Honeywell Tower Fan review and our Lasko YF202 review.

Noise/Sound Level

In both speed settings, the fan stays very quiet throughout. You may even need a separate white noise generator with this desk fan to help you fall asleep. You can also consider getting the Honeywell HTF090B fan or the OPOLAR Mini Portable Battery-Operated desk fan, for additional small options.

Versatility/Modern Features

It doesn’t come with any remote control, but at this price, it’s expected. The fan has straightforward controls with blue LED-backlit buttons. If you are trying to sleep, those lights can get a bit annoying. And the best thing about this fan is it’s prebuilt. So you don’t need to fiddle around with parts and accessories to figure out how to assemble it.

Value

As mentioned before, Lasko products always hit the sweet spot for the best bang-for-buck fan crown. And the Lasko Air Stick Tabletop Fan is no different. But if money is not an issue for you and you need the best desk fan out there, go for the PureFlow QT7.

Lasko Air Stick Tabletop Fan Wrap Up

The Lasko Air Stick Tabletop Fan is an excellent fan at a fantastic price. If it had smaller grills, it would have been even better for the users that need to manage their kids. But that allows the fan and the motor to flex their muscles and really proves that strong airflow can be provided even at a lower price.
