Top critics hailed the Keychron K6, approving it for gaming, office use, and mobile use. Researchers at The Verge adored its 65% compact design. However, if you prefer a full-size model, see our Keychron K4 review. Experts from Product Review say that it supports incline adjustment at 4°, 6.5°, and 10°. This model has RGB backlighting with individually lit keys.
It supports both wired and wireless Bluetooth connectivity, pairing with up to three different devices. The device has a rechargeable battery, and the manufacturer says that it runs for up to 70 hours on a single charge. The keys are not macro-programmable, however. Tests that were done on a variant with Gateron Brown tactile switches revealed a 45 gf operating force and 2.6 mm pre-travel distance.
Users seeking a model with low-profile switches can check out the Keychron K7 review. The keyboard performed quietly during testing. It has a decent 7.7 ms wired latency but a disappointing 27.1 ms Bluetooth latency. This model doesn’t have a wrist rest.

The Keychron K6 is a mid-range 65% compact wireless mechanical keyboard first released back in 2020, intending to provide portability and multi-device support for keyboard enthusiasts. Like some of the best keyboards today, this device is portable. This keyboard is available with Gateron Brown, Blue, and Red switches and offers responsive typing.
