Joyor E Scooters can get up to an impressive 31-mile run on a single battery charge. Too bad it takes a good 6-7 hours charge. Still, you can charge it overnight and come back the next morning, ready to start your day. If you’re interested, check out our best electric scooter for heavy adults list for more great options! The Joyor Electric Scooter features a powerful 500-watt motor and an impressive 15.5 MPH top speed to get you where you need to go quickly and to make it up those hills efficiently. But it won’t compromise the safety of the drivetrain for speed, though, as its UL2272 certification promises. If you don’t mind a gas-powered, three-wheeled ride, you can check out our piece on the Automoto 3-wheeled scooter
Joyor Electric Scooters travel at a maximum speed of 15.5 MPH. It’s a long-range electric scooter, able to travel 31 miles on a fully charged battery, which should be more than enough to get you to and from where you’re going every day. But if you do need to go faster for whatever reason, consider the Nonrobot D5+. Or the INOKIM Light 2 scooter that maximizes at an impressive 21 MPH. However, if you really want to up your speed, you should check out our NanRobot D4+ electric scooter review and its impressive 40 mph top speed.
The Joyor Scooter travels at a top speed of 15.5 MPH, as mentioned above, and this is because it complies with UL2272 certification requirements for your safety. The scooter won’t compromise its drivetrain and charging functions just for the sake of making you go faster. The LCD display on the scooter will also notify you if there are any issues with the battery, so you know beforehand whether it’s safe to ride or not.

The Joyor X5S comes equipped with a 500-watt battery with added quick charge, which allows it to be filled in about six to seven hours. But this is still fairly long for a quick charge function, so consider the Glion Dolly Foldable Lightweight Adult Electric Scooter for something that can charge in half the time. But under the right conditions, the battery on the Joyor can last for 40.3 miles.
The frame of the Joyor Electric Scooter is made from aerospace-grade magnesium, which is known for having low density yet incredible structural strength. The low density is the key here, as the scooter does weigh about 33 pounds. But with a low-density frame, it just may feel lighter and more manageable (not that 33 pounds is particularly heavy for a scooter).
Be aware that you’ll probably have to hold the power button down for a few seconds before the scooter turns on. It’s not a one-touch deal with this scooter. Overall, the Joyor Electric Scooter is a joy to ride and is easily portable thanks to its quick foldability, making it a great commuter companion too. Really, the only thing it seems to be lacking is a basket like the Razor Ecosmart Metro Electric Scooter to carry your bags around with you.
The Joyor Electric Scooter’s main drawback is its long charging time. But considering it takes about as long as for you to sleep, is it really a drawback? The LCD display notifies you if there are any battery issues, further amplifying an already safe scooter, and the aerospace magnesium it’s constructed from adds durability and longevity!
