What the brand doesn’t always tell you…

The JBL Club Pro+ TWS earbuds are a mid-tier pick launched in 2020. They have an IPX4 rating for water resistance and can hold an 8-hour charge. The case offers up to 24 hours of additional playtime.

Charging takes about 1.5 hours, but the earbuds miss out on NFC and multi-device pairing, which are common features among the best headphones. That said, the earbuds each have a 6.8mm driver and support for Active Noise Cancellation. They can also connect to a companion app for EQ settings.

One bud can be used while the other charges (mono mode), and the buds have touch-sensitive controls to manage calls or music playback, volume control, ambient sound control, as well as muting/unmuting the built-in microphone.
