Let’s be real, the Flipside Wallet definitely isn’t fitting among Best Cool Wallets. Its strength lies with its ability to withstand a beating, while also sharing traits with the Best RFID Wallet. Its durability is incredibly tough, thanks to polycarbonate and aluminum, in addition to 8 card slots, RFID protection, and 10 bills.
Built with polycarbonate and aircraft-grade aluminum material, the Flipside Wallet is one tough wallet and very functional. It can handle 8 cards and 10 bills at any given time, with a layer of RFID protection.
Speaking of its look, the Flipside Wallet isn’t fashionable on any level. It does come in a few bright colors, but it’s very limited. That plastic look doesn’t do it justice. Its aesthetic is being practical, not stylish, but the Tommy Hilfiger Wallet balances both.
But if we’re talking strength, the Flipside Wallet is one of the strongest. This is because of its construction, combining polycarbonate and an aircraft-grade aluminum interior, creating an incredibly crush resistant shell. There are also reinforced hinges and a scratch-resistant surface, which wasn’t present in the previous model.
It’s clear aesthetics isn’t the Flipside Wallet’s thing. Performance, on the other hand, certainly is. It holds a favorable number of credit cards, a total of 8 at one time. Additionally, the outside band can hold a few more if or when the need arises. However, the slot for money only handles 10 bills at a time, though you can stick extra money on the outside band as well. If you want a smaller purse that can hold just 3 cards, try the AnnabelZ Coin Purse.
The Flipside RFID Blocking Wallet isn’t big, relatively speaking, but it is a bit bulky. Measuring 4.25 x 2.8 x 0.75 inches in size, the wallet’s thickness could be concerning and difficult to carry around in your pocket. The Travelambo Wallet does not have that issue whatsoever due to its minimalist design.
As far as performance for your value is concerned, the Flipside Wallet does well in those categories. However, it isn’t the prettiest to look at. More damning than that is its niche usage. This is one of those options that only appeals to a small group who need tactile gear. But as an everyday wallet, it doesn’t fit the bill. You’re better off with a Serman Brands Wallet.
The Flipside Wallet is not going to win any points for its aesthetics. Its clear functions were favored over style. For example, its ability to hold 8 cards and 10 bills at one time but expanded upon with the outside band. More importantly, its polycarbonate and the aircraft-grade aluminum interior is incredibly tough. It’s bulky, though, and niche to some degree.
