While looking for the best printer for art prints, you must’ve come across at least one photo printer that touts a high yield rate. But the sad reality is, the print resolution for a photo printer is usually very high. So they are not that great in terms of ink efficiency. However, the Epson WF7710 Workforce Wireless Printer is much different. It is very efficient, unlike something from the Epson Expression (XP) lineup of inkjet printers. Continue reading our review to discover other key features of this multi-functional printer.

Why We Like It – Epson WF7710 Workforce Wireless Printer

The Workforce Pro WF 7710 Wireless Color Printer is one of the best printers available at $500. This best wireless printer for home use supports wide format printing, duplex printing, and borderless printing all at the same time. And on top of that, you get pretty great performance and efficiency out of it.

  • A lot of onboard controls
  • Large format borderless prints supported (Up to 19 x 13 inches)
  • Dual sided printing speed of up to 8.7 PPM (Black ink prints)
  • The ink capacity is not that great

For a photo printer, the Epson WF7710 Workforce Wireless Printer is very fast. For standard prints, the print speed is around 18 ISO PPM (Black ink) and 10 ISO PPM (Color). It is probably the best large format printer when it comes to print speed at a lower price point. When you switch to two sided printing mode (duplex printing), you can get speeds around 8.7 ISO PPM (Black ink) and 6 ISO PPM (Color). These speeds are more than enough for a small scale home office.

Print Quality

It is a photo printer, so obviously, the print quality (print scan copy) is going to be pretty good. And this printer uses Epson’s Durabrite Ultra ink cartridge, which is miles better than dye-based colors. And it doesn’t even guzzle ink per page, something we’re going to talk more in detail about in the next section. But, if you are not satisfied with the print resolution, just go for the Canon PIXMA G5020 MegaTank Inkjet Printer.

This one printer can save you thousands of dollars that you’d have to spend on ink cartridges. For a photo printer, it’s very ink efficient and doesn’t waste much ink per page. If you print text documents a lot, you just need to keep a black ink cartridge handy at all times. For printing color gift cards, you can easily replace the color ink cartridge that runs out. The Brother INKvestment MFC-J985DW is a similarly efficient inkjet printer.

Advanced Features

The WorkForce Pro WF 7710 comes with a 250-sheet paper tray. So it does have the capability of handling medium to high workloads. Other than the 4.3-inch color touchscreen, it also has NFC for easy pairing. If you don’t care about NFC and want to save some money, the Brother MFC-J805 comes with a very similar feature set.

All in all, the WorkForce Pro WF 7710 actually turns out to be a pretty good value for money, even though it costs $500. With notably great ink quality support and wide format printing, this is truly a printer that achieves the perfect balance between professional workloads and average home-usage.

Epson WF7710 Workforce Wireless Printer Wrap Up

The Epson WF7710 Workforce Wireless Printer is excellent for users who don’t want to spend a lot of money on replacing ink cartridges. And wireless printing adds a whole lair of possibilities on top of that.
