If your grandparents are looking for the best electric bike for seniors, something low key that provides some exercise and fun when needed—the ElectroBike Game Cruise is a surefire option. It has a low step post for easy dismounting and mounting, and a sturdy rear rack for a picnic basket or running errands.

Why We Like It – ElectroBike Gama Cruise

The ElectroBike Gama Cruise comes fully prepared for running errands, thanks to a sturdy rack, bright LED headlights and a 20mph top speed. In addition to a low step post for easy mounting and dismounting.

Pros
  • Low step post; easier to mount/dismount
  • Sturdy rear rack
  • LED headlight cuts through darkness
Cons
  • 30 mile max range

Durability & Build Quality

The ElectroBike Gama Cruise gets its durability from an aluminum alloy material, which keeps it lightweight but still relatively strong. The seating can feel a bit stiff, but that feeling disappears after some use. Like the VoltBike Elegant, the low step post makes it easy to mount and dismount.

Performance (Speed & Acceleration)

Punching the ElectroBike Game Cruise into throttle mode gets its 350W motor going. You can top its speed at 20mph, which is a good speed for budget electric bicycles. And there’s enough power and torque to handle moderate inclines.

Range & Battery

Battery life suffers a bit here. The lithium ion battery can only put out 30 miles on a single charge. The E-Joe Anggun Electric Comfort Bike can go 50 miles. However, the battery recharges relatively fast after 4 hours. Also, you can push for a few more miles with pedal assist.

Safety Features

The ElectroBike Game Cruise E Bikes come with a handful of safety features that are much appreciated. The suspension fork in the back helps keep the rider from bucking and handles quite well on sketchy terrain. The steel fenders keep debris from flying back, and the mechanical v-brakes have decent stopping power. And the LED headlight cuts through darkness better than most of our entries.

Value

Throwing down $1499 for the ElectroBike Game Cruise, in our minds, is a no-brainer—and cheaper than the Addmotor Motan. It’s a great bike for those who are on the fence about e-bikes and for the elderly. This is especially true considering its low step post design. The rear rack opens up the option to run errands, and its build leaves open the option to customize it.

ElectroBike Gama Cruise Wrap Up

Despite a so-so battery, the ElectroBike Gama Cruise is a good bike—just swap out for a better compatible battery when you get the chance. Still, the low step post is a lovely feature for the elderly—no climbing necessary. The sturdy rack wants to carry your stuff. And the LED headlight opens up night time joyrides.
