5 Reasons Why The EcoReco Scooter Is The Best Mode of Personal Transportation

EcoReco Scooter

Anyone who lives in the city knows how what a pain it is to get around. Cars make for congested streets and lots of pollution, while walking won’t always get you to you destination on time, especially if you’re already running late. Some of the best electric bikes and even bicycles are great for inner city transportation, but when everyone has a bike, finding parking for it and having to worry about it getting stolen can be a headache. That’s where the EcoReco M3 E-Scooter comes into play. The scooter isn’t the same one from your childhood days, either. But if it is something for the kids that you seek, then we suggest that you check out our list of the best electric motorized scooters for pre teens. Here’s a few reasons why the EcoReco M3 E-Scooter makes the best mode of personal transportation for city dwellers. In fact, it is a contender for the best electric scooter.

1. It’s Green

Going green isn’t just a cool thing to do these days; it’s a necessity. Preserving our planet is essential for our kids and going green is the way to do it. The EcoReco Scooter is powered by an eco-friendly 36V, 8 Ah LFP rechargeable Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that doesn’t pollute the air or emit dangerous greenhouse gasses when used.

2. It’s Cheap and Efficient

With rising gas prices, getting around in a car gets pretty darn expensive. While a gas-fuled vehicle can only get you maybe 5-6 miles tops on a $1 of gas (given you don’t have a hybrid or electric car). But you can actually get more than 500 miles on that same $1 when riding around the EcoReco. Imagine all that gas money you’ll save! And it’s not exactly a snail when it comes to speed, either. The high-performance scooter maxes out at 20 mph and can go up to 20 miles on a single charge, while being able to carry up to 250 lbs.

3. It’s Lightweight and Portable

The need of portability and versatility is important when it comes to personal transportation and the EcoReco excels at both. It’s lightweight, foldable and compact…what more can you ask for! You can literally take it with you everywhere – the gym, coffee shop, work, a date, by your feet on a train/metro, etc. It’s a great way for commuters who come into the city by train or bus and then need to still go a few blocks to get to their destination because of its portability. Folding it up takes 5 seconds and it weighs only 34 lbs, making it great for even the smallest rider to carry around. Folding size is 3’x1’x1/2′, so you can easily store it in your gym locker for safe keeping.

4. Easy Charging

You can charge the EcoReco practically anywhere! It can be charged via any standard electric outlet at home, a coffee shop, work, etc. And charging doesn’t take forever, wither. It takes 2.5 hours to get it to 85% so you don’t have to wait a day to explore the city you love.

5. Easy to Ride

Just like the scooter from your childhood, the EcoReco is just as simple to ride. It actually requires less exertion than biking or waking so you can go on your date without showing up all sweaty since its high-efficient electric  250W hub motor does all the work for you. But you can also configure its top speed at 7.5 mph or 12.5 mph if you’re letting younger runs borrow it for fun. But for those days when you want to be a kid again, you can easily bust some old school scooter moves. It’s drag-free when doing the old-fashioned kick propelling move and you can hop on and off with ease. And since it features a low center-of-gravity design, it’s safe to ride. There are handlebars to hold on to and a physical brake to slow it down so you are always in control. The multimode LED dashboard will also show you your speed, battery status, odometer, trip distance and total charge cycles at a quick glance.

If you’re ready to trade in your gas-guzzling car or even  your bike for the EcoReco M3 E-Scooter, buy one for $999.

  1. i would also love the E-scooter. I don’t even think 900.00 is too much. Maybe a little too much but I could not afford it till it comes down to the 500.00 range. I’m a good hard worker in a great job just don’t make enough. Please??

  2. Just got my new toy yesterday. It’s looks tough. First thing that came to mind regarding build quality is that it’s built like a gun or assault weapon :), Tight tolerances, heavy and black. I have a question though, how do you configure EcoReco to limit it’s top speed?

  3. It’s a nice e-scoot and I would like to have one but seems to expensive for it’s purpose. Please lower the price to somewhere in the $500s’ and I will get one in a heartbeat.
