our Verdict

Product testers lauded the Ducky One 2 SF, recommending it for gaming, office use, and programming. It proved to be ergonomic with incline settings of 5°, 9°, and 13.5°, and testers loved its compact design. However, if you prefer a full-sized model, check out the Ducky One 2 review. Using a model with Cherry MX Blue switches, this device required a 68 gf operating force and 2.0mm pre-travel distance, and testers described the typing experience as great. Office users will be concerned to know that these switches are noisy, although it’s available with other quiet Cherry MX switches.
Consider the Ducky One 3 review if you prefer a model with hot-swappable switches. Praising its build quality and design, they hailed its double-shot PBT keycaps. All keys were confirmed to be macro-programmable during experiments. Reviewers at New York Times loved its RGB backlighting with individually lit keys, although the color mixing was a bit poor. It disappointed testers at CaseGear with a wired latency of 14.4 ms.
