The Cuisinart DCC-3200 Coffee Machine will brew you a light or bold cup of coffee, self-clean, and fit nicely into your kitchen decor without overpowering it. It’s too bad it’s not the fastest coffee machine around, but brewing just one cup shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. Check out our best coffee maker list for more devices!

Why We Like It – Cuisinart DCC-3200 PerfecTemp

Cuisinart Coffee Makers will give you a great cup of coffee without the fuss of having to worry about whether the coffee will be too strong, whether it will brew too many cups, or whether the coffee will come out scorched if you try for a hotter cup. You don’t have to worry about these things because they are all programmable.

  • Strength control for lighter or bolder flavours
  • Fantastic filters
  • Minimalistic design
  • No thermal carafe
  • Not the fastest around
  • Not Energy Star certified

The Cuisinart Coffee Maker allows you to select regular or bold flavor coffee via its brew strength control feature which is nifty if you want a bold, good cup in the morning and something lighter in the afternoon or evening. The Brew Pause Feature allows users to enjoy great coffee before the brewing process is completed. Unfortunately, you won’t find this feature on all coffee makers, like the Cuisinart Next Generation Burr grind brew. Overall brew time on the 14-cup programmable coffeemaker takes between 5-10 minutes depending on the number of coffee grounds and brew amount. This is a little on the slow side, so try the Technivorm Moccamaster KBG 741 for a faster brew. The Cuisinart DCC-3200 Programmable Coffee Maker features a gold tone coffee filter and a charcoal water filter to ensure the cleanest cup of hot coffee possible. The main body consists of sleek and decorative stainless steel and a cup glass carafe that fits snugly into the base of the unit. Overall, the machine isn’t the loudest in the world, but it should still be able to fill out your kitchen decor. But if you want something more outlandish, try the OXO Barista Brain 9 Cup Coffee Maker.

The Cuisinart DCC-3200 Drip Coffee Maker has a clean button which means all you have to do is fill the water reservoir with your favorite mild cleaning solution and hit the button. The cup button also allows you to brew a single or few cups if you don’t require the machine’s 14-cup capacity. The temperature control allows you to achieve hotter coffee without that horrible scorched taste of less-quality machines. The PerfecTemp retails on Amazon for $100.00 which puts it in the affordable range like the Bodum Bistro Coffee Maker.

Cuisinart DCC-3200 PerfecTemp Wrap Up

Cuisinart Drip Coffee Makers make excellent coffee and Cuisinart has continued this legacy in their fully programmable DCC-3200 model. There are a few things that hold it back, the slowness and the lack of energy-star certification being the main ones, but for the price, you can’t really argue about what you’re getting.
