The Corsair HS50 are reasonably comfortable with their generously padded earcups and headband, but they’re slightly heavy (0.72 lbs) and tight. but their noise isolation is terrible and won’t block out any rumbling noises or ambient conversations.
The headphones are durable, with a dense plastic build and metal grilles, but their hinges are thin.
Sound quality is very well-balanced, with excellent bass accuracy (especially the low bass responsible for deep rumbles), incredible mids for clear vocals, and a good treble range that’s slightly underemphasized.
However, controls are inconvenient because they’re limited to just volume and microphone control, and the sound leakage is middling, so it may not be ideal for offices. There’s no Bluetooth connectivity, but the wired connection (1/8” TRRS) ensures negligible latency.
