The Cooler Master MM710’s ultra-lightweight design, high sensitivity, and comfort make it a compelling option for competitive gamers. However, users with larger hands may find it less accommodating, and the minimalist design without RGB may not suit everyone’s preferences.

What Is Not on the Box

What the brand doesn’t always tell you…

our Verdict

The Cooler Master MM710 has no RGB lighting, but the mouse is sturdy, despite the honeycomb design, and the Omron switches for the L/R buttons are tested for 20 million clicks.

The scroll wheel is notched with 24 steps for greater precision and although the MasterPlus software offers plenty of customization options, it is prone to crashing during installation and is only compatible with Windows.

At 53g, the MM710 is in the ultra-light territory, and the durable but lightweight cable doesn’t keep the mouse from gliding fast. Although the tested latency is a bit high at 10.4ms, the mouse is sensitive with a 16,000 DPI. Lastly, the minimalist and ambidextrous honeycomb shell design is comfortable for gamers with small and medium-sized hands.

Overview

Announced in August 2019, the Cooler Master MM710 Mouse is a mid-range, wired gaming mouse with a honeycomb shell design (perforated holes) and six programmable buttons.

Like many other best computer mice, it uses an optical sensor with a high operating resolution of 32,000 DPI that can be adjusted through its MasterPlus Software.

The MM710 also has an ambidextrous shape, and with an ultra-low weight of 54g, it is one of the lightest gaming mice around.

Unfortunately, the MM710 doesn’t have a USB receiver storage compartment, since it is wired, but it has a 10.4ms click latency for responsive gaming (check out the best gaming mice for lower latencies) and relies on an optical sensor for motion tracking.

Its scroll wheel also has 24 steps for precise movements and a 6.2ft USB cable long enough for convenience, but its small size makes it unsuitable for larger hands.
