our Verdict

Critics were impressed by the Cooler Master MK730 and approved it for gaming, office use, and programming. They were excited by its compact TKL design. However, if you prefer a larger full-size keyboard, see the Corsair K55 RGB PRO review. Tests revealed fully-customizable RGB backlighting with per-key backlighting. Analysts at Tech Spot were impressed by the detachable wrist rest and incline adjustment between 2° and 9°. However, if you need a device with even more flexible incline settings, see our ASUS ROG Strix Scope TKL review.

Tests revealed good typing quality, although the 64 gf operating force proved to be high for some gamers during experiments. Testers at RTINGs praised its aluminum plate and doubleshot keycaps. The Cherry MX Blue equipped model also proved noisy. See our Corsair K70 RGB TKL review for quieter linear mechanical switches. The 6.8 ms wired latency proved to be high for some gaming situations. This model also lacks multimedia keys. Check out the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 review for a keyboard with dedicated media keys.
