The Bunn Coffee Maker is a powerhouse in the coffee-brewing world. And with its fast brew time, dishwasher safety, and easy-to-use and programmable features it’s not difficult to see why. Check out our best coffee maker list to see how the Bunn HB Heat N Brew Programmable Coffee Maker fares against the competition.
The Bunn HB Heat N Brew Programmable Coffee Maker is an SCAA-certified machine that produces a rich cup of coffee any time of day, is dishwasher safe (a rarity when it comes to coffee makers), and comes with cool additional features like a spray head that evenly showers your grounds in water to maximize flavor.
Unlike the Bella 14755 coffee maker, the Bunn HB Heat N Brew Programmable Coffee Maker has a brewing time of about one minute per cup which is the fastest we’ve seen in coffee makers so far. With such a quick brewing process you can still enjoy good coffee in the morning even if you’re running late. For something cheaper with a decent brewing time, check out our review of the Bonavita Connoisseur. The brewing temperature is between 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit so you’ll always get the perfect cup of rich-flavored coffee. Just like the Moccamaster KBG 741, a full pot consists of 10 cups, which is pretty average for coffee, but consider the OXO Barista Brain 9 Cup Coffee Maker if 10 cups are too much and you want something less.
The Bunn Heat N Brew Programmable Coffee Pot boasts a large brew basket that is easy to clean. Slide it out, dump out the coffee grounds, and toss it into a dishwasher. All components, including the glass carafe, are dishwasher safe. The drip-free carafe possesses a large, strong handle for easy pouring with no spillage. It comes with a stainless steel design which normally means it would be hard to clean, but because it’s dishwasher safe it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Even though it’s not the best commercial coffee maker, it’s still a great product. Moreover, if you want to compare products, check out our mashup of the Bunn NHS vs GR coffee makers.
Additionally, If you prefer something with impurity-removing capabilities. The Cuisinart Next-Generation Burr Grind & Brew 12-Cup Dgb-800 has two filters that do that. And, if stainless steel isn’t your cup of tea, though, try the Technivorm Moccamaster KBG 741.
The Bunn HB Heat N Brew Programmable Coffee Maker’s digital clock lets you automate the brewing time so you have fresh, home coffee when you wake up in the morning. Plus, this coffee maker has an auto shut off after two hours. It’s an SCAA Certified Machine and the water reservoir has helpful markings of how much water is needed for how many cups you’re brewing. It comes with a 3-year warranty and retails for $130.00. If you need more of a budget coffee maker, the Bodum Bistro Coffee Maker should have you covered.
The Bunn HB Heat N Brew Programmable Coffee Maker isn’t the most eye-catching designed coffee maker and it’s a little on the expensive side. But do you want a machine that can brew a nice cup of coffee or one that looks nice on your countertop? The price? Well, that’s something you need to budget for if you want a good cup.
