During experiments, the rubber dome switches had a typing-friendly 0.9mm short pre-travel distance but required a relatively heavy 63 gf operating force. Testing also revealed that the keyboard is remarkably quiet. It has a rechargeable battery and the manufacturer claims a battery life of up to 712 hours, although testers were unable to verify this.
