The BlendJet 2 is a stylish portable blender that excels in blending on the go but falls short with its high noise output and inability to hot blend. It also has a short charging cord and could provide a more visible low-battery notification.

Overview

The Blendjet 2 is an entry-level portable blender that was first launched in late 2020. It is battery-powered and includes a 16 oz jar for adequate blending when making single-serve smoothies. Weighing only 1.3 pounds, it is one of the best blenders to consider for portability.

The blender is rated at 200 watts of power, but with a max noise level of 85.9 dB, it is hardly one of the quietest blenders in its category. The Blendjet 2 also has an impressive max speed of up to 18,000 RPM, and its battery takes a 90-minutes to charge.

Its six blades are fairly sharp, but not enough for ice-crushing or hot blending. . Also, the Blendjet 2 is not dishwasher safe. For an alternative that is, make sure to check out our Ninja BL642 review.

What Is Not on the Box

What the brand doesn’t always tell you…

our Verdict

The BlendJet 2 is a great example of a well-built, battery-powered plastic blender that is ideal for making smoothies on the move. However, even with an 18,000 RPM motor, the blender struggles with processing fibrous ingredients, often producing a grainy puree. It also yields a tested noise output of 85.9 dB, which is quite noisy.

On the bright side, the blender’s elegant design, simple controls, sharp blades, and easy cleaning make it a joy to use. It compares well to a lot of the best personal blenders, such as the Breville Boss To Go, which we’ve covered in our Breville Boss To Go Blender review. Overall, it’s a reliable companion for creating quick salads or refreshing smoothies, but it does not hot blend and is not dishwasher-safe.
