  • Manual controls to fine-tune textures
  • Seven pre-set Auto IQ functions for one-touch blending
  • Easy-to-use vacuum pump
  • Batteries on vacuum pump must be recharged periodically
  • Takes up considerable vertical space with the vacuum pump

The Ninja Smart Screen Duo blender has a motor that peaks at 1400 watts, giving it plenty of power to make the most of its Freshvac technology and to blend ultra-smooth frozen beverages and more. It also has seven pre-set pulse timing patterns that are great for beginners and allow for convenient, one-touch creation of frozen blender drinks like smoothies, frozen margaritas, and other delicious beverages.

This Ninja vacuum blender uses the Freshvac removable vacuum pump, which is powered by rechargeable batteries. Thus, there’s no drain on the blender’s motor when using the vacuum, but you do have to recharge the battery occasionally. A well-sealed lid prevents air leaks as it removes air. Along with the Freshvac technology, this blender uses Ninja’s total crush pitcher, which comes with a durable BPA-free plastic tamper and stainless steel blades. It breaks up ice cubes in just seconds and can even pulverize coffee beans, making it a great choice if you’re also looking for the best blender for frappuccinos. Plus, all the attachments except the Freshvac pump are dishwasher safe. Its functionality rivals even the best commercial blender.

 #2  Nuwave Moxie Vacuum Blender

We’re sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock

WHY WE LIKE IT: This versatile vacuum blender comes with a wide array of attachments and accessories, including a BPA-free tamper, tamper lid and vacuum lid, and even a recipe book.

  • Intuitive control dial
  • Powerful 2.5-horsepower motor lets it crush ice and blend hard vegetables
  • Stainless steel blades for durability
  • Louder than some competitors
  • Doesn’t come with travel cups

Some will find this countertop vacuum blender with built-in vacuum technology to be even more convenient to use than a blender with a top-mounted vacuum pump attachment. Like the best personal vacuum blenders, it provides options for automatic vacuum and blending programs, so you can set it up for one-touch blending, including the vacuum function that removes the air from the blended ingredients.

A high-performance 2.5 hp motor gives it plenty of speed for achieving smooth blended fruit and vegetable mixes, as well as pulverizing ice into snow and grinding up nuts for nut butter, emulsifying powders, and oils, and liquefying fresh greens.

 #3  Klarstein Vacuum Blender

WHY WE LIKE IT: A handsome and easy-to-use touchscreen panel smartly integrates the vacuum function and blending options on this well-designed vacuum blender. Well-fitted rubber seals help maintain the vacuum.

  • Well-sealed to prevent air leaks
  • Built-in vacuum pump allows it to be more compact
  • BPA-free and impact-resistant glass pitcher
  • Not as powerful as some of the commercial-grade vacuum blenders
  • Lacks self-cleaning mode

Benefitting from an integrated vacuum function that removes air from ingredients in its glass jar before blending, this relatively quiet vacuum blender is well-suited for making fitness drinks and fruit smoothies with frozen fruit, ice, nut butter, and supplements. A well-designed touchscreen base includes simple one-touch buttons for a variety of functions, plus manual variable speed controls, a pulse feature, and a ground feature.

While it lacks the fancy self-cleaning that some professional vacuum blenders offer, it does feature a real glass, not plastic, pitcher which holds a decent 1.5 liters. It also comes with a travel cup that’s compatible with the vacuum pump. The motor puts out 1300 watts of power, and it uses stainless steel blades. If you’re interested in the best blender for frozen drinks, give this one a look.

 #4  Pado Ozen Vacuum Blender

WHY WE LIKE IT: This handsome vacuum blender has a very effective smart function for vacuuming and blending, plus a rotary knob that gives you manual control to fine-tune the blending process.

  • Strong pump removes air
  • BPA-free pitcher and vacuum storage jar
  • Unique six-bladed design promises smoother blends
  • Can be awkward to fit under cupboards since it’s over 20” tall
  • Overly complex locking mechanism can be finicky

This Pado Ozen 500 vacuum blender integrates several key features in a handsome modern design and with a simple control panel with a smart function for automatic vacuuming and blending. With a strong vacuum pump, it removes the air and prevents oxidation, helping boost vitamin content and preserve nutrients in a wide range of ingredients.

In addition, this model comes with a smart auto-blend feature that integrates vacuuming and blending. This helps ensure it removes air bubbles that might form while blending, making for smoother, more flavorful smoothies and shakes. This feature also extends the fridge life of fresh fruit smoothies and green smoothies, making it the best blender for smoothies on our list.

#5  Nutri Ninja with FreshVac Vacuum Blender

WHY WE LIKE IT: This handy personal vacuum blender takes up less space than a commercial-style vacuum blender but delivers excellent results thanks to its smart blending Auto IQ function and easy-to-use FreshVac technology.

  • Stainless steel extractor blades
  • One-touch FreshVac handheld vacuum attachment
  • Comes with two portable blender cups
  • Lacks the capacity for larger batches
  • Not as powerful as a full-size vacuum blender
  • FreshVac pump requires recharging

This small personal vacuum blender whips up smoothies and shakes nearly as well and as quickly as some commercial blenders, and it does so with less noise. While the 22-oz pitcher is not big enough to make smoothies or green juice drinks in large batches, it works very well for marking one to two servings. Its small volume also allows this ninja vacuum blender to make the most of an 1100-Watt motor and the FreshVac technology vacuum attachment.

As with most small vacuum blenders, the vacuum is separate from the blender base and relies on a rechargeable battery. Using it means an extra step in the process of making your smoothie, but the FreshVac system is very straightforward, with one-button operation and auto shut-off.

 #6  Ikich Vacuum Blender

We’re sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock

WHY WE LIKE IT: This model comes with high-grade steel blades and airtight vacuum seals, plus a 25,000 RPM motor that gives it near commercial-grade performance at a bargain price point.

  • Self-cleaning mode
  • Comes with travel cup
  • BPA-free pitcher and lid
  • Less powerful than some of the best countertop blenders at only 1000 Watts
  • Vacuum lid requires recharging via USB cable

This relatively large capacity vacuum blender is easy to recommend given its budget-friendly price point and generally high-quality materials. The design and control interface also merits praise, with a clear LCD screen showing key features, blender setting options, and time remaining.

It uses a 1000 Watt motor, somewhat less than in professional or commercial grade vacuum blenders, but adequate for home smoothie making and more than enough for blended juices and coffee drinks. The vacuum feature is integrated into the blender jar lid, and it uses a small motor and a battery rechargeable via USB cable. Fortunately, the USB cable is included.  #7  Omorc Vacuum Blender

We’re sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock

WHY WE LIKE IT: An integrated vacuum function removes the air and boosts the nutrition of green drinks and smoothies, no need for separate batteries or an attachment. Plus, a bright LCD screen makes this blender quick and easy to use.

  • 10-speed manual control
  • Self-cleaning mode and dishwasher-safe vacuum jar
  • Smart programs and clear LCD display
  • Less powerful motor than some professional blenders
  • Not as quiet as some blenders on the market

While this 800 Watt motor is on the smaller side for a countertop vacuum blender, this model excels when it comes to convenience and ease of use. The vacuum function is integrated into the blender housing and doesn’t require batteries or assembling any attachments, and it doesn’t take up as much vertical space as many other vacuum blenders do.

This model also stands out in terms of the number of programmed options it gives you. With an easy-to-read LCD screen, it lets you toggle quickly among key functions. It comes with presets including vacuum and juice mode, a setting for smoothies, as well as a dedicated ice crush mode. This makes it one of the easiest-to-use vacuum blenders on the market today. • Auto blend technology for one-touch smoothie prep
  • BPA-free pitcher
  • Takes up more space than most personal blenders
  • Controls can be confusing
  • Not as easy to clean as some other blenders

This powerful professional-grade vacuum blender uses an integrated vacuum pump and promises to remove nearly all the oxygen from your juice and smoothie ingredients as it blends. This prevents oxidation from happening as quickly, making smoothies and shakes stay fresh longer and boosting flavor as well as the nutritional value of vitamins and minerals.

With its noise-isolating hood, this model is quieter than most countertop blenders, making it a good choice for early risers who might want to make a breakfast smoothie without waking the whole family, an important trait if you’re looking for the best countertop blender. It comes with a 40-oz BPA-free pitcher and Auto-Blend technology that adjusts for the weight and placement of ingredients.

 #9  Tribest Dynapro Vacuum Blender

WHY WE LIKE IT: Key features of this high-performance vacuum blender include a temperature-indicating blender jar, a 2.5-horsepower motor, and a sturdy base that feels secure even during high-speed blending.

  • Full manual control setting available
  • BPA-free 64-oz pitcher large enough for family-size smoothie batches
  • 12V vacuum pump effectively removes air
  • Vacuum pump is a separate attachment
  • Can be more challenging to keep clean than many blenders
  • More maintenance-intensive than most countertop blender models

This powerful commercial high-speed blender comes with a sturdy base, a 2.5-horsepower motor that’s capable of winding up to 30,000 rpm, and a vacuum pump attachment that quickly removes air from the blending container and makes for a low oxygen blending process. This allows you to make smoothies, shakes, green juice drinks, and keto coffee that stays fresh longer and resists separation. Another chef-friendly feature is the raw temperature indicator built into the blender jar.

The 64-oz pitcher is a decent capacity for making family-sized smoothie batches, and the controls are relatively easy to use, with a pulse and grind function as well as programmed functions for smoothies and shakes. Those used to a personal blender may find that this model is more maintenance heavy and more challenging to clean than they are used to. That being said, it’s a versatile blender and one of the best blenders for hot liquids on our list.

 #10  BioChef Vacuum Blender Container

WHY WE LIKE IT: This blender jar with a vacuum attachment turns your existing Vitamix blender into a convenient vacuum blender, boosting the nutritional content and shelf life of your blended drinks, without making you switch blenders.

  • Fully automatic operation
  • BPA-free Triton plastic construction
  • No other changes to your Vitamix blender required
  • Blender not included
  • Battery must be periodically recharged between uses

This vacuum-enabled blender pitcher upgrades your existing Vitamix blender, in effect giving you a Vitamix vacuum blender. Especially appealing if you’re looking to try airless blending to improve the flavor or nutritional content of your green juice, smoothie, or coffee drinks, but already own a Vitamix blender, it allows for full vacuum blending without compromising on the quality or manual controls the Vitamix blenders offer.

The vacuum comes with three reusable vacuum bags and is easy to attach to the lid of the included blender jar. With a single easy-to-use button, it automatically removes the air from the jar, allowing for low oxygen blending and reduced oxidation and ingredient separation in your smoothies. This makes it a contender for the best blender to puree foods on our list.

How We Decided

In order to choose the best vacuum blender, we looked for high-performance countertop blenders–at least 700 watts or about one horsepower was the requirement– and materials like blender blades made of hardened, heat-treated stainless steel. We also took into account the vacuum pump, only considering models with either an integrated vacuum function or a well-designed vacuum attachment. Well-designed gaskets and seals were a must.

We looked for an automatic blending setting for one-touch convenience, an intuitive and easy-to-use control panel, and some manual control options too. We gave preference to blenders that offered variable speeds so you can fine-tune the blending process. A dedicated ice cube crushing function was considered a bonus, as well as different programmable functions for leafy greens, fruit juice smoothies, protein shakes, and hot beverages.

For ease of use, we also preferred blenders with touch screens and simple control knobs. We looked for blenders that were able to liquefy fruits and vegetables, blend coffee beans and nut butter and crush ice into snow. The noise was taken into account, as well as durability and ease of cleaning.

Finally, we considered the pitcher. We only included blenders that came with a BPA-free pitcher, and we gave preference to dishwasher-safe blender jars.

Best Blenders for Frozen Drinks Buyer’s Guide

The Most Important Features to Consider

  1. Vacuum Pump
The best vacuum blenders, unlike traditional blenders, must have a way to remove air from the blender jar and ensure that no air bubbles form as the ingredients are blended together.
    • Some models do this by means of a separate modular unit, like a battery-powered vacuum pump that attaches to the lid, while others employ a vacuum function integrated with the motor base.
    • However, keep in mind that this likely won’t be a great quiet blender with such high power. But, it’ll be a perfect blender to make Acai bowls.
  2. Variable Speed Control
The best vacuum blender for smoothies and healthy food beverages needs precise control; this lets you fine-tune the blending process to ensure smoothness and an even texture.
    • Manual controls are especially important for frozen concoctions containing liquid ingredients and different textured items like nut butter, coffee beans, frozen strawberries, and ice cubes.
    • So, if you’re eager to start checking out blenders, read our review of the Vitamix vs Wolf blenders.
  3. Dishwasher Safe Pitcher
While some professional models include advanced features like a self-cleaning mode, most of the best blenders have dishwasher-safe high-temperature pitchers. This is especially important if you plan to use your blender to friction heat soups and sauces as well as for making ice-blended drinks.

Blenders for Frozen Drinks FAQs

Is Vacuum blending better?

Especially if you like to blend smoothies or shakes in advance and keep them in the fridge, vacuum blending technology can make for much more appetizing blended drinks. By removing the oxygen from the blender jar, a vacuum blender delays oxidation of vitamins and nutrients, allows for more complete mixing of different ingredients, meaning less separation and more vibrant-looking, more flavorful, and more nutritious smoothies.

What is vacuum blending?

Vacuum blending is when a vacuum pump is used to remove the air out of the jar before or during the blending process. It helps to make smoother and more delicious smoothies, shakes, and other blended beverages. It can also extend the shelf life of bottled smoothies and makes for a more appetizing texture.

What is the most durable blender?

If you’re looking for a blender that can stand up to repeated heavy use, look for a commercial-grade blender with well-designed seals and hardened steel blades. A self-cleaning mode also helps.

What blender do professional chefs use?

While many chefs are limited by the equipment provided, some culinary experts including chefs and nutritionists now prefer to use a high-performance vacuum blender. A vacuum blender or a high-speed blender with a vacuum container allows for more efficient and more complete blending, giving a better texture to smoothies and shakes, as well as helping ward off separation.
